SELECTION OF SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (JAVA) SOFTWARE ENGINEER (JAVA) , SENIOR PROJECT ASSOCIATES (JAVA) , PROJECT ASSOCIATES (JAVA) , SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPR, JUNIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER UNDER VARIOUS AGRI INFORMATICS PROJECTS (ON CONTRACT BASIS) IIITM-K invites the applications from suitable candidates for the post of Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Senior Project Associates, Project Associates, Senior Android Developer, Junior Android Developer, under various Agricultural Informatics projects of the institute. The appointment will be on contract basis for a period of one year.

1. Senior Software Engineer (Java) Job Code No: SSE-01/2015-16 (Experience – 7+ years) No. of posts : 2 (Pest Surveillance Project – 1, Coffee Board Project -1) Essential Qualification : First Class B.Tech/ MSc Comp.S/ MCA/ MSC-IT/ with minimum seven years of solid working experience in the design and development of web applications in Java/J2EE /MySQL/XML environment. Salary : Rs. 40,000 per month (Consolidated) Experience: The candidate should have minimum seven years of solid working experience on developing web applications using Java/ J2EE. Preference will be given the candidates who worked in framework like J2EE, Struts or Spring etc. Technical Skill Set Required • • • • • • •

Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ Struts) Familiar with the Eclipse IDE Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system Common Understanding of other compiled languages Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) Experience of development using web technologies Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery and Ajax Strong Knowledge with Eclipse Strong Knowledge in using version control (e.g. SVN)

Salary : Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated) Experience: The candidate should have minimum five years of solid experience on developing web applications using Java/ J2EE.
