Leads are simple details of people who make enquires about products or services offered by a company with the intention of buying the product. It could just be their phone numbers, email addresses or complete details, including their addresses. Many of these enquirers (leads) become customers. For a company, a lead is the first stage in acquiring customers. The more leads they have in the pipeline, the more customers they can have. Trades people like plumbers are skilled tradesmen but not marketers. Many of them struggle to find customers. I believe ten grand a month is sufficient to give anyone a good living and lifestyle. You can generate this by selling, for example, 10 different products on your website, each giving you $1000 profit per month or you can have 10 websites selling different products with each website making $1000 per month for you. There is no limit to the number of websites you can build to sell products online or to the number of products you can sell. The more websites or products you have the easier it is to make the targeted $10,000 per month income. It is entirely up to you how you want to achieve this, either by having more websites selling different products or having multiple products on the same website.
The main thing is having the right website and finding the right products to sell at the right prices for profits. 3. Amazon and EBay selling Selling products on Amazon and EBay is another type of ecommerce business, except that you don’t own the website on which you sell the products, Amazon and EBay owns it. The great thing about selling on Amazon or EBay is that you don’t need to have your own website and all the elements needed for a good ecommerce website is provided to you by them. Amazon and EBay have their own customers, but allow people to sell products on their websites to their customers. All you need is a product that sells well and start making money on either or both of these two platforms. If you are selling on Amazon or EBay or both, here again, I would encourage you to target making $10,000 per month income. Breaking it down, $10,000 per month is equivalent to about $350 per day. For example, if you are making a profit of $15 per product, you will need to sell about 24 units of the product every day to make $360 a day. This should give you more than $10,000 a month. This goal is very much achievable if you choose the right product to sell. To make it even easier for you, you can sell 24 different products and sell just one of each every day and your $10,000 will be in the bank for you.
You can achieve more than $10,000 if you sell many more different products than just 24 products. Indeed there is no limit on the number of products you can sell. There are people selling on Amazon who make over $100,000 per month from selling multiple products and you can do the same. 4. Affiliate Marketing Compared to the other three online businesses discussed, Affiliate Marketing is the simplest and you can literally start today with no capital. The biggest advantage of affiliate marketing is that it is easy to start and in most cases requires no money up front. Affiliate marketing is about selling other people’s products online for a commission. It involves choosing a niche, selecting a product from that niche to sell, joining an affiliate program in that niche and selling the product on your website. Affiliate products can be physical products or information/digital products. You can make money with either or both of them. Affiliate marketing is one of the simplest ways to create a business online. It also serves as foundation to building other businesses online. Experience you gain in selling affiliate products (other people’s products) can be used in selling your own products or running ecommerce websites. An affiliate website is different from an ecommerce website in the sense that you don’t take payments on your website. In fact the transaction does not take place on your website.
As an affiliate marketer, your job is to promote (talk about) a product or advertise it on your website and get people to visit your website so that they can read your review or see the ad. You will then place a link from your to the website of the vendor (the person whose products you are promoting on your website). People who read your review or saw your ad who are interested in the product will click on the link to the vendor’s website or click on the ad to take them to the vendor’s website to make a purchase there. The vendor’s affiliate system recognizes that the buyer is from your website and credit you with the agreed commission. For example if the agreed commission is 50% and the price of the product is $49.97, you get credited with $24.99. This money is then transferred to your bank account or your PayPal account, depending on which one you gave them. Some vendors can send you a check if that is what you prefer. Like the other 3 online businesses discussed, you can make a lot of money online doing affiliate marketing. You can achieve the $10,000 dollars we have been talking about by promoting multiple affiliate products on a single website or a multiple of websites. 5. Digital Marketing Consulting When you learn the methods and techniques involved in building the above businesses discussed, with a little more additional training you become an expert in internet marketing (digital marketing). As a result you can sell your services as a digital
marketing consultant (a fancy term for an online marketing expert/specialist). This service is different from a Lead Generation business. With lead generation you only generate leads for the company and you use your own website and resources to do so. You don’t get involved in their business in any way. However as a consultant you will be helping your clients with their internet marketing. The main focus is helping them to get more customers and grow their business through effective online marketing. They own their own websites and digital assets and you make use of those to bring them customers. You don’t own the websites or any of their web properties. Consultants usually focus on helping their clients to build their businesses. You can do this by using many techniques of internet marketing. There are many types of services you can offer. These include website building services, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services, Facebook marketing services, video marketing services and many more digital marketing services like these. These methods and techniques of promoting a business online is very easy to learn. You can learn many of them in only a couple of hours. In case you are not familiar with SEO, it is a process by which you encourage a search engine like Google to show the website of your client on the first page of Google when a particular search term (keyword) is used to search for your client’s services online. Setting up a digital marketing agency can be very lucrative. To make life easier for yourself as a digital marketing agency owner,
you can pass on the work to a sub-contractor. All you will need to do is find the contract and then sub-contract the work. As mentioned above, one of the services you can offer is an SEO services. If you offer an SEO service, you can charge any reasonable amount you like but the typical fees for a small company is about $1,500 per month. Sticking with our $10,000 per month income goal, you will need only about 7 clients to make $10,000 per month. The bigger the company the more you can charge the client so you may end up making much more than $10,000 a month. Here again there are small agencies like the one you may be setting up which makes this kind of money. The above illustration was based on offering only SEO services. You can make even more money if you offer other types of services as mentioned above in your agency. There is therefore a huge potential to make a lot of money as a digital marketing consultant.
6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Service I discussed SEO as one of the services you can have in a digital marketing agency. However, SEO services is big enough to set up as a business on its own. In other words in your consultancy you don’t concern yourself with any other form of digital marketing but SEO alone. I have already explained in the section just prior to this section how lucrative an SEO business can be.
7. Social Media Marketing Service One other skill you will pick up when you learn lead generation, affiliate marketing or ecommerce business properly is social media marketing. The biggest of the social media platforms is Facebook, but there are others like Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and many more. However, the majority of the social media marketing you will do will be on Facebook. Millions of people go on Facebook each day and there is no doubt your potential clients or your clients’ potential customers are also there. As a Facebook marketing expert your job is to identify potential customers on Facebook for your clients and run effective Facebook campaigns targeting this group. Facebook marketing can be very lucrative with a high ROI. You clients will thank you for getting then such a high ROI on their investment. As mentioned previously it is not difficult to master Facebook marketing. You can have a good grasp of it in as little as a day. Like an SEO business, clients pay monthly and the amount charged can be based on how much money they spend on Facebook campaigns. It is quite normal to charge 25% of the total ad spend. You can achieve the $10,000 target we have been talking about from offering Facebook marketing services with a total clients’ ad spend of $40,000 per month.

There are still a great number of businesses out there with no websites and there are also millions of websites out there that need updating. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to build a website. It is easy to learn. You can get familiar with a website building software called WordPress in a few hours. Besides, you will be contracting out most of the work anyway. If you are running a website building business where you are building websites for many clients, you can’t do all the jobs yourself. You have to hire contractors. These contractors are very cheap to hire and you can make over 80 percent profit on one website after paying the sub-contractor who built the website for you. Therefore, all you really need is understanding how to build a website so that you can direct the sub-contractors building the websites to do it exactly the way you want it.
Website prices s on the size and complexity of the website required by a client. However, you can make on average $1,500 per website built. In this scenario, you will only need 7 clients a month to make $10,000 per month. One big advantage of the website building business is that it feeds into your other online businesses. For example, a website you built may also require SEO services. So your job does not end with building the website. The SEO service takes over from there. You can also offer Facebook marketing and many other internet marketing services to the client. 9. Information Product Creation Business Creating information products and selling them on the internet is a huge business. Selling information products involves packaging any useful information either produced by yourself or licensed from someone else and selling it online. Information products usually comes in CDs, videos/DVD, PDF and in other printed materials. There are people looking for information of all sorts and if you can give them what they want they will pay you for it. A typical example is about a short eBook called Pregnancy Miracle. This information product has brought millions of dollars to the producer. This is only a short eBook in a PDF format. However, sticking with our $10,000 goal, you can produce a number of information products or license other people’s products and sell online to achieve this amount each month.

Blogging is a very good way to make money online. It goes hand in hand with affiliate marketing as discussed previously. Blogging involves setting up a website that provides news and information to people looking for such information. For example, you can have a blog (website) about weight loss and talk about weight issues. You will need to add new information and update your blog regularly. However, you don’t have to do the writing and provide all the contents of your blog yourself. You can get contributors who would provide the content free of charge and you can also pay people do write articles and produce videos for you. If your blog contains useful information that people need, before long you will have followers who will frequent your blog/website in great numbers. There are many ways to make money with your blog. You can write a review about a new product and provide and sell that product to your visitors. This may involve having an affiliate relationship with a vendor or a product owner whose product you review and promote on your website. For example if your blog is about weight loss you can sell weight loss products or promote relevant affiliate products on your blog.
You can also sell things directly to your visitors by placing an ad on the blog or sell ad space to people who want to advertise on your blog.

Notwithstanding everything said, it is beneficial or even necessary to learn all the business models that relate to each other. For example, if you have a blog, understanding affiliate marketing will help you to make more money with your blog. As you gain more understanding of these businesses and can figure out what businesses complement each other, you may then decide to put some of these businesses together and regard as one business. As I said from the beginning, the main aim of this report is to make you aware of some of the many online businesses available and their potential to make you a lot of money from home.
