12 DAYS PRIMATES AND WILDLIFE SAFARIS Itinerary in details Day 1: Drive to Murchison falls from Kampala In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked from your Hotel in Kampala and then transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit the Nakasongora Rhino farm and have a view of the rhinos. Proceed to Masindi and make a stop for lunch in Masindi town. Then proceed into the park and visit the fascinating top of Murchison falls. Dinner and overnight Day 2: Game Viewing and launch cruise along the Nile Wake up in the morning have breakfast and have a morning game drive adventure and view some lions, leopard, giraffe, elephant, buffalo and hyenas. Return for lunch and in the afternoon, you will take an afternoon boat cruise on river Nile up to bottom of the falls seeing giraffe, lion, elephant, schools of hippos and many bird species like the broad shoe bill stork. Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Drive through the Albertine Rift via Fort portal for Kibale After breakfast start off from Murchison Falls National Park for Fort portal. Heading Southwest wards through the Albertine rift, this journey takes you through beautiful scenic area characterized by escarpments of the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley. Day 4: Morning Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest This day you will wake up early for your early morning cup of tea. Then continue to Kanyanchu Tourists centre for briefing and make some payments before you go to the park. Proceed to the park and search for chimpanzees. Return for breakfast and later have lunch, there after go for a village walk to Bigodi Swamp Eco site sanctuary for more primate and bird watching. Dinner and overnight. Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park Wake up early morning and have breakfast then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Queen Elizabeth hosts a variety of wildlife. It boasts one of the highest bio diversity ranging from the open Savannah to Rain forest, dense swamps and beautiful crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. Almost 100 species that include Hippos, Buffaloes, Lions, Leopard, Spotted Hyena and the elusive giant forest hog, There are over 606 species of birds found here including the martial eagle, Verreaux’s Eagle owl, Black-Rumped buttonquail and African skimmer among others. After go back to the hotel and have lunch, you will enjoy an evening drive in search for the above mentioned fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight Day 6: Wildlife Tours in Queen Elizabeth National Park You will have a morning game drive after breakfast; have a chance to see the animals before they return to their hideouts. Return for lunch and in the afternoon take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel looking for variety of game and bird watching. Evening will be at Leisure. Dinner and overnight Day 7: Queen Elizabeth – to Bwindi Impenetrable forest Following breakfast, you will have another short view of wildlife as you have your way out of the park to Bwindi Impenetrable forest through Ishasha where the tree climbing lions are famous. Have Lunch in Ishasha, and then proceed reaching in the evening, check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Early morning following breakfast, you will go for gorilla tracking in the forest. Tracking takes 2 - 8 hours depending on the movement of these humble Apes. You will return for lunch and have the afternoon relaxing. Dinner and overnight Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi After breakfast proceed to Lake Bunyonyi and will have lunch dinner and overnight Day 10: Lake Bunyonyi In the morning after breakfast, carryout a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi and go to visit communities. The rest of the day will be for leisure. Dinner and overnight Day 11: Lake Mburo and Its wildlife Following breakfast early morning; you will drive to Lake Mburo National park. You will get there in the afternoon and have lunch at the accommodation, there after take an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo looking for variety of bird species and game. Dinner and overnight. Day 12: Lake Mburo Kampala After breakfast you will have a game drive looking for variety of wild life like zebras, buffalo, hyena etc. Check out and drive to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator an Mpambirwe drum
