In a bid to ramp up its customer service and to be the part of customer’s celebrations during the upcoming festive season, Intex is announcing a 180-days replacement warranty for its entire product basket of feature phones. By this policy, Company wants to give its customers a piece of mind and to enable them to fully utilize the handset potential. This replacement is valid for any hardware fault on its feature phones range, and the company promises to replace the faulty handset with the same model or an equivalent one. Under the replacement warranty, customers will be entitled for replacement if they face any hardware fault in the handset. Intex will replace the handset with the same model or an equivalent model in the first 180 days from the date of activation of the handset, which is a part of the 1-year total warranty period.

Eligibility criteria to avail 180-days replacement warranty 1.

Applicable for activated devices (Tertiary-1st Sep’2017 onwards)

Replacement of handset will be the same or equivalent model. In case of any delay, the replacement handset will be arranged within 48~72 hours. 2.

Process for the Service Center a) Establish that handset is under warranty and needs replacement within 180 days from the activation date. b) Verify warranty proof by asking for required document. c) Service Jobsheet creation. d) Service center to retain the warranty proof for replacement claim from the company. e) Service center to return the defective handset to the respective MICP/TRC. f) All the terms and conditions are fully complied.

This ‘180 Days Replacement Promise’ is applicable for within warranty service only and the customer will be responsible for any costs associated with non-warranty conditions. Intex reserves the right to make final decisions regarding problem determination and the appropriate service option. 6. The ‘180 Days Replacement Promise’ can be availed only one time. 7. In the event of replacement, replaced handset will be deemed under warranty for the remaining period of time as per original IMEI. 8.
