2014 European elections: timetable by Member State This timetable is part of a DeHavilland EU series on the 2014 European elections. The 2014 European elections will take place from 22 to 25 May. In most EU countries, citizens will go to the polls on Sunday 25 May. In Italy and the Czech Republic, voting takes place over two consecutive days. The full timetable of the elections by country is shown below. The official results in all EU Member States can be announced at 11pm CET on Sunday 25 May, when the last polls close. Under the Act on Elections to the European Parliament, no formal results can be made public before that time. Most EU Member States, including the UK, are expected to formally announce their results on the evening of 25 May or during the day on 26 May.
