Two-week summer program for rising high school seniors to learn how to turn a promising idea into a successful business. UNC Chapel Hill Next Generation SWING Program: 2-day on-campus event held June 13-14 for rising seniors who are interested in the field of social work. McDaniel College Summer Science Academy: Opportunity for rising seniors to explore science fields, get a glimpse of McDaniel and receive a $40,000 scholarship to McDaniel is admitted and enroll senior year. Wildlife Ecology Research at the Huyck Preserve and Biological Research Station in Rensselaerville, NY Summer 2014: 3-week residential program structured to give students the opportunity to learn the skills needed to participate in scientific investigations. Week long residential programs on the campus of Washington College in Chestertown, MD. July 27-August 2. Workshops include: communication and presentation, advocacy, selfawareness, project planning, team building, conflict management, effective feedback, group dynamics and diversity.
