2014 UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO LOBO COLLEGIATE Albuquerque Convention Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico Saturday, January 18, 2014 ENTRY DEADLINE Thursday, January 16, 1:00pm Mountain Time ENTRY PROCEDURE • All entries will be done online through Direct Athletics. • It is not the responsibility of the University of New Mexico coaching staff to do visiting teams entries. • Please be attentive in entering athletes as with TFRRS it is a necessity. • A descending order list of competitors will be placed on www.golobos.com prior to the meet. COLLEGIATE ENTRY FEE • $400 per gender per team, $800 for both a men’s and women’s program. • For teams that register 10 or fewer athletes the entry fee is $20.00 per athlete per event. • All entry fees are just that – an entry fee, not a competition fee. If you register 11 or more athletes you are required to pay the team entry fee even if you do not bring 11 athletes. • There are no refunds possible. OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT ENTRY FEE $30.00 per athlete per event. Entry fee must be paid by credit card while registering on Direct Athletics. All postcollegiate athletes must get a password to register. The password will be available on the Monday prior to the meet. Contact Rich Ceronie at [email protected] EVENTS CONTESTED • 60,60H, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1 mile, 400 Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Weight Throw. • There will be NO 3000, 5000, 4x400, and Triple Jump PACKET PICK-UP Final meet packet will be available on the backstretch near the entry doors for teams under the red Lobo tent. CREDENTIALS Wrist bands will be issued to competing athletes, coaches, managers, trainers associated with visiting teams. SCORING: All Division I teams in attendance will have a team score compiled at conclusion of meet. This is to adhere to NCAA Bylaw 20.9.5.1 which is the scheduling requirement for Division I sports.

TIMING The meet will be timed by Clyde Neff & Record Timing. Mr. Neff has been instructed to not change entries once the meet has started, or alter the meet results once the meet has concluded, therefore proper entry procedures must be utilized. PREFERRED LANES • Sprint races: 4-5-3-6-2-7-1-8 • 200-400: 5-6-4-3-2-1 ADVANCEMENT FOR FIELD EVENTS In all field events that dictate nine (9) will advance to finals.

The world-class facility at the Albuquerque Convention Center is owned and operated by the City of Albuquerque. Their policy is strictly enforced. Only ¼” pyramid spikes for all events except the High Jump which may use 3/8” pyramid spikes. No needle or Christmas tree spikes are allowed. No permanent spiked shoes are allowed unless they have pyramid spikes Shoes will be checked at Clerks area

RUNWAY MARKINGS Chalk is not permitted on the Mondo track, only white athletic tape. IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN • Implement weigh-in will occur on the backstretch and will be held from 8:00am – 12:00pm. • Only indoor implements may be used FACILITY/RUNWAYS • The University of New Mexico indoor 200 meter track has six 34” lanes on the oval, and eight 46” sprint lanes. The entire facility is Mondo surfaced. • The Pole Vault runway is elevated 12” off the surface, is 56” wide and 141’ in length. • The Long Jump runways are elevated 12” off the surface, are 56” wide and 175’ in length with take-off boards at 2 meters (6’ ½”) and 4 meters (13’). • The Triple Jump runways are the same as the Long Jump runways with 145’ in length with take-off boards at 11 meters (36’ 1”) and 13 meters (42’ 6”). • Meet management MAY choose to place one secondary tape board down in the Triple Jump at 9.50 meters (31’ 2”) for women and 12.80 meters (42’ 0”) for men. • The High Jump is contested off the sprint straight. FACILITY AVAILABILITY The Albuquerque Convention Center will be available for pre-meet practice from 3:00pm – 5:30pm on Friday, January 17th. TEAM PARKING Parking for teams is behind the Albuquerque Convention Center by the loading docks. Please refer to map for directions. 400 HURDLES The University of New Mexico is one of the few facilities that host competetions in the 400 Hurdles indoors. It is a very commonly contested event in Europe. There are 8 hurdles, two on each straight, 30 meters apart. TRAINING AREA All sports medicine staff will be set up on the south end of the facility
