The Silent Epidemic in our Workplaces The profitability of organizations is an increasingly complex dynamic. Today, businesses are redefining success from financial, social and human perspectives. Whereas employee engagement was the hot button issue in the last few years, the importance of mental health has now surfaced and with it, brings new expectations of employers. Workplace bullying has been well documented as rampant in our workplaces and as an element that is negatively impacting both mental health and bottom line. With their responsibility for creating healthy workplaces ever increasing, employers have the opportunity to take important actions to understand, deal with, and end workplace bullying. Mr. Olivier will give an overview of the topic, including statistics, signs and symptoms, as well as practical skills. WORKPLACE BULLYING ROUNDTABLE | 3
