2017 Summer Technology Camps GenCyber Security Camp (for rising 7th through 10th grade students) June 26 - June 30 The 2017 GenCyber Student Camp is to provide students with the resources they need to make educated choices about ethics, security, and character when using digital and information technology. Students will also have the opportunity to explore various cybersecurity careers, helping them decide if this is a field they would like to explore in their future. Some specific topics covered during the experience include computer ethics, online safety, and careers in cybersecurity, cryptography, forensics, programming, and cyber bullying. Students must agree to attend for the entire week and submit a recommendation from a teacher in order to attend. This camp is funded through the National Security Agency and National Science Foundation. There is no cost.

Tween Maker Camp July 10 - July 14 Cost: $200 Four day maker camp designed for middle school students focused on STEAM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). Campers will combine traditional craft techniques, conventional and smart materials, and digital fabrication strategies to create jewelry, toys, and objects of their own design. This camp will appeal to kids who like create, build, or problem solve as well as students who are interested in art, design, or computer science.
