AYP NETWORKING EVENT* Axe Throwing at Rage Montreal Friday, Oct. 20 | 6:30 – 9:30 pm
Rage Montreal is an indoor axethrowing range in downtown Montreal. During this private event, AYPs will learn from professional instructors on the art of axe throwing on one of their 11 throwing alleys. Come blow off some steam, learn a new skill, and compete in AYP’s first axe-throwing tournament. Must be 35 years old or younger to register. WORKSHOP: Intermediate Plumbing System Design* Saturday, October 21 | 8:45 am – 4:45 pm New for 2017! During the 2017 Technical Symposium, engineers and designers can participate in this exclusive full-day course, which was created for those who want to learn more details about the systems they currently design. Centered around commercial kitchen design, this course touches on a multitude of systems including domestic hot and cold water, natural gas, sanitary waste and vent, and storm drainage. This ticketed course is available to full 2017 Technical Symposium attendees only and is limited to 20 individuals. You will receive 0.6 CEUs (6 hours) for participating in this course, which is equivalent to what you would earn for participating in four breakout sessions on the same day at the Technical Symposium. The TAXI stand is located directly at the airport. The fixed rate is $40 toward Hotel Bonaventure. It takes about 25 to 40 minutes to get to the hotel. For the return, the taxi stand is directly at the entrance of the hotel, and it is not necessary to book in advance unless you want a minivan.
