2018 K12 Summer Camps

Our online summer camps are a great way to get and stay connected to your school community this summer. These virtual camps* are scheduled late-June through mid-August as one-hour sessions. Attend individual sessions, or join us for a whole series, to make new friends, have fun, and explore interesting topics!

K–3 Science of Habitats 4 PM (ET), 3 PM (CT), 2 PM (MT), 1 PM (PT & Arizona) Explore the habitats of the world as we travel through the depths of the ocean; the layers of the rainforest; the ice-cold polar regions; the vast deserts; and the natural, lush wetlands and grasslands. Students in grades K–3 enjoy learning about these amazing habitats and the animals who call them home. After each session, there will be a “craftivity” handout to extend the learning and fun.

5–8 Minecraft Camp: Build a Green City K12’s Summer Minecraft Camp is a great way to connect to and join a large green city build project with other K12 students across the nation. Participating students should already have a paid version of Minecraft for PC or Mobile if they would like to join the server build days.* The task, should you choose to accept the challenge, is to build a dynamic and environmentally friendly city following the weekly objectives. Our final week of camp will end with a showcase of the amazing talents of our students.

Students who choose to join the K12 server for build days will need to have a Learning Coach authorization that will be explained in the Live Camp sessions. All sessions will be one hour.
