DEPARTMENT POLICIES The Parks & Recreation Department maintains a NO-REFUND policy (exceptions will be made for medical reasons, in which case a doctor’s note must accompany a written request). BIRTH CERTIFICATES: If your child has never registered for a Parks & Recreation program, a copy of your child’s birth certificate is necessary for registration. PAYMENT PROCEDURE: Our on-line registration accepts visa, mastercard and discover card. PLAYGROUND T-SHIRT PAYMENT: T-Shirts can be purchased on-line. You do not need to indicate a size when ordering your T-shirt. You will have the option of choosing when you come in for pick-up. There is no administration fee for t-shirts. T-SHIRT PICK UP: Tuesday, June 26th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Old Bridge Civic Center. All shirts must be picked up by 6/26/2018. Shirts not picked up by this date must be received at the camp site.

NON-RESIDENT REGISTRATION: Tennis registration for non-residents will begin May 8th, 2018 Camp Robin registration for non-residents will begin May 15th, 2018

SUMMER ROBIN PROGRAMS

To qualify for this camp your child must be classified by the child study team. Registration Process: Information night at the Camp ROBIN building on June 11th, 2018 at 6:15pm. This will include a parents meeting to verify all of the requisite paperwork is complete. Please do not mail-in your registration. Required paperwork for camp is available at the Parks and Recreation Department and will be distributed through the Glenn School.



CAMP ROBIN July 2 - August 10 Camp ROBIN Summer Camp 9:00 am ~ 2:00 pm About the Camp Come spend your summer days with us! Daily activities include use of the computer room, instructed gym activities, cooking, arts and crafts and yoga. There are many trips being offered, however, these trips are optional and require an additional fee. Fee: $235.00 - Residents, $385.00 - Non-Residents Camp Size: 80 campers Priority is given to Old Bridge Residents first.

ADULT FRIDAY NIGHT FUN: July 6 ~ August 10 ON-LINE REGISTRATION ONLY

Spend your Friday night with us. Friday Night Fun is a recreational,social program for people with disabilities.This program will allow individuals to interact with their peers in a social setting. Participants will participate in events in and around the community. All activities will be exciting, fun filled, and entertaining. Please note there are additional fees for trips. Transportation is available. Fee: $105.00 Residents $155.00 Non-Residents

About the Camp The summer playground camp is back again for 2018 and we’re ready for another fun filled summer! This year’s schedule is full of exciting trips (optional) that are designed to keep campers happy all summer long. This year included in your camp fee will be the visiting zoo, the color run and an all exclusive day to Funplex Amusement Park in Mount Laural NJ!! Transportation is not included and the playground sites are subject to change. Please visit http://gis.oldbridge.com/ to see which summer camp site your child should be attending. You must sign up for the site closest to your home. KIDDIE KAMP July 2 -August 3 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

This camp is designed for children entering kindergarten September 2018. Held at the Civic Center this camp is designed to meet the needs of our younger campers. All trips (optional) are geared towards this age. Instead of the Funplex trip we will be utilizing the fun bus on multiple occasions.

CAMP T-SHIRTS

Mad Science of West New Jersey Summer Camp 2018 All classes held in the Ceramic Room of the Civic Center For children ages 6-10 August 13th– August 17th 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Red Hot Robots $160 per child 25 child maximum Join Mad Science for a week of fun with our marvelous machines- robots! Children will explore the fundamentals of robotics and discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. After experimenting with sound-sensing robots, line-tracking robots, amphibious robots, and even robots that can play soccer, campers will be well-equipped to build a working robot to experiment with at home. Children will also build simple circuits, test for conductivity, and discover how switches work as they participate in a variety of hands-on activities and games.

August 20th– August 24th 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Brixology! $140 per child 26 child maximum Using LEGO bricks designed exclusively for Mad Science, junior engineers team up to construct different projects. From carnival rides to drawing machines, mechanical animals to truss bridges to space stations, you’ve got to check this out! Engineering Design Challenges include building a space sail, bobble head, and glider car. Try your hand at aerospace, nautical, biomechanical, and even structural engineering! Let the tinkering begin!

Our tennis court lights are on an automated system. The courts will now be available weather permitting at no cost on a first come first served basis. The lights will go on at dusk and remain lit until 10:00 pm and will continue through Labor Day.
