USing TWO BLUE BOXES
Plastic & metal containers
Paper
Put rinsed household plastic & metal containers loose into one blue box. Black plastic is garbage.
Put printed paper & paper packaging including rinsed cartons loose into a separate Blue Box.

Clean packing styrofoam
(break larger pieces into small chunks and place in clear plastic bag).
ON TOP! Rinsed glass bottles & jars.
Return LCBO bottles to the beer store for a refund. Broken glass is garbage.
ON TOP! Stuff soft plastic bags inside one plastic bag
Empty and dry aerosol & metal paint cans. (leave lid off).
BESIDE! Fold & bundle corrugated cardboard--place beside blue box. Bundle with packing tape, or twine in 30” x 30” x 8” dimensions.
USing One BLUE BOX Put papers into a grocery bag. Shredded paper should be in its own clear plastic bag.
Metal & aluminum cans, empty metal paint cans (with the lid off) empty aerosol cans, used metal cookware, and plastic bottles and containers go in the blue box. Clear and coloured glass bottles & jars on top. Return all LCBO bottles to the beer store for a refund.
Stuff soft plastic bags inside one plastic bag. Chip bags, wrappers, and pet food bags are garbage.
Fold & bundle corrugated cardboard and place beside blue box in 30”x 30”x 8” bundles.
Stuff cereal & tissue boxes, egg cartons, toilet paper rolls into one box.
