Day 2. Victoria This morning, enjoy a short orientation tour of Victoria before visiting The Butchart Gardens. Among the most famous gardens in the world, The Butchart Gardens are more than a hundred years old and have a distinctive style all of their own. Spend time wandering through the lovely Sunken Garden and relax in the beautiful setting of the Japanese Garden and the Italian Garden. Explore the plants and floral displays on show. Then continue through impressive Kicking Horse Canyon before arriving in the city of Kamloops late in the afternoon. There is time to explore the region’s glacial terrain and gold rush history or perhaps choose to make your way to the town and explore the rustic shops located here. You may also like to experience an exhilarating dog sled ride over a glacier or try one of the other activities available to you. These include sampling delicious salmon baked over a fire or even trying your hand at panning for gold in this former gold rush town (own expense).  BLD

Day 17. Skagway This morning you’ll dock at the port of Skagway, which is located at the northernmost point of the Inside Passage. Skagway was once a frontier town and gateway to the Klondike and still celebrates its gold rush past to this day. You will find a variety of stores and saloons in town that capture the excitement and history of the gold rush days. Here you will also have the opportunity to learn more about gold prospecting or view some of the fascinating local wildlife (own expense). BLD

Day 18. Glacier Bay Wake up to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park this morning, with its formidable rivers of ice, wild coastline and sheltered fjords. As you cruise through the national park, it is easy to see why the area has received World Heritage status. General Information & Conditions The following terms and conditions (‘booking conditions’) form the basis of your contract with Australian Pacific Touring Pty Ltd (‘Travelmarvel’, ‘we’ or ‘our’). Please read them carefully as they set out your and our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these booking conditions, that you agree to them and that you agree to them applying to your holiday arrangements you book with us and which we agree to make, provide or perform (as applicable) as part of our contract with you. References in these booking conditions to your ‘holiday package’ are references to the tour or cruise package you have booked with Travelmarvel. References to ‘excursions’ are references to short trips or tours included or available as part of your holiday package. GOVERNING LAW: These booking conditions are governed by the law in force in Victoria, Australia. PRICES – DEPOSITS – DISCOUNTS – PAYMENTS: Your booking price will be set out in this brochure unless it is varied by advertising or a special offer, or is changed after the publication date for any reason, including without limitation, to cover changes in government taxes and charges, exchange rate variations, fuel surcharges, airline charges, a force majeure event or other material increases by suppliers. Once you pay your deposit your holiday package price is guaranteed (except for any changes resulting from a force majeure event – see below). A $1,000 security deposit per person, per holiday package is required within seven days of booking confirmation. Deposit requirements may vary when booking a special offer. Final payment of the balance of your holiday package price is due 100 days prior to departure unless stated in the terms of a special offer. Travelmarvel reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger where payment has not been received by Travelmarvel within the specified time. All fares and charges are in Australian currency. Payment in full is required at time of booking for reservations made less than 100 days before departure from Australia or New Zealand. If Travelmarvel is unable to confirm your reservation, all monies will be refunded. EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW EARLYBIRD OFFERS: Conditions apply. All pricing and saving amounts are in AU$. Airline schedules can change without notice and Travelmarvel is not liable for any additional costs incurred due to airline schedule changes. Should you choose to depart earlier than your scheduled tour/cruise departure, or make variations to airline routings, surcharges may apply. To be eligible for a fly offer, flights must be booked by Travelmarvel. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person is due within 7 days of booking; a second non-refundable deposit of $2,000 per person is due by 30 November 2018. However, if fares increase and/or changes in ticketing requirements occur, the second payment may be required earlier. Final payment is due 100 days prior to departure. All air is ticketed upon receipt of the first deposit. Any changes made after ticketing may incur an amendment and/or cancellation fee and, in some cases, tickets are nonrefundable. There are no refunds on tickets once issued. Air taxes are estimated and subject to change. Fuel surcharges are subject to change and an additional fuel surcharge may apply. Note that frequent flyer miles/points may not be awarded on all airfares. BEST PRICE OFFER: Preview pricing is the best price available. Once the main brochure launches prices will be superseded. TRAVEL WITH FRIENDS: $300 per person discount available only when 6 or more friends book together on the same cruise or tour of 19 days or more duration whereby the ‘19 days or more’ is part of the tour & not made up of pre or post tour accommodation. This offer is combinable with fly/air offers & the Early Payment Discount.

INCLUDED IN HOLIDAY PACKAGE PRICE: All coach and travel, accommodation, airfares (if indicated in individual itinerary), gratuities, airport transfers on the first and last day, sightseeing, specified excursions, meals, admissions, port charges and the services of a Travelmarvel Tour Director on land tours and a cruise escort where specified, subject to minimum numbers. NOT INCLUDED IN OUR TOUR AND/OR CRUISE PRICE: Airfares (unless stated), airport taxes, laundry, passport and visa fees, food not on the regular table d’hôte menu, drinks may or may not be included as indicated in your itinerary, all baggage fees in North America unless the flight is in conjunction with an international flight, and all excess baggage beyond allocated limits on international flights, fuel surcharges and optional excursions and gratuities not specified in your itinerary. TRANSFERS: Arrival transfers are included on Day 1 of your tour or with pre-tour accommodation booked with Travelmarvel. A return transfer is included on the last day of tour/cruise and in addition with post-tour accommodation booked with Travelmarvel. All flight information must be given to Travelmarvel 60 days prior to your departure date, if this information is not received we are unable to guarantee the transfer. No refund will be given to any unused transfers. If you miss your pre-arranged transfer you are responsible for making your way to the destination. Transfers cannot be re-routed to other pick-up points or destinations. VISA AND PASSPORTS: All passengers must carry a machine readable passport, valid for at least six months after your return date. Note that visa and passport requirements are the responsibility of the traveller to organize and are subject to eligibility with Canadian and United States government requirements. All Australian, New Zealand and UK citizens travelling to Canada and the United States (including on an Alaskan cruise) must register online for an Electronic Travel Authorization to determine eligibility to enter. There is a fee of CAD$7* payable in conjunction with the eTA registration (*subject to change) for Canada and a fee of US$14* payable in conjunction with the ESTA registration (*subject to change) for the US. CREDIT CARD SURCHARGES: If you pay Travelmarvel by credit card surcharges of between 1% and 3% will be added your tour price. CANCELLATION POLICY: For all tours*, the following applies: Days of Notice: Fee Per Person 100 days or more Loss of deposit 99–61 days 50% of holiday package price 60 days or less 100% of holiday package price All cancellations must be received in writing by Travelmarvel and are not effective until this notification has been received. If your holiday has commenced, 100% of the full holiday package price is charged. There is no refund for unused services or if portions of the holiday package are missed. Additional cancellation fees may also be charged in respect of accommodation reserved outside the holiday package dates. These cancellation fees are in addition to any fees that may be levied by Travelmarvel and your travel agent (if any). You acknowledge that the amounts estimated under the Cancellation Policy are reasonable and represent a genuine pre-estimate of Travelmarvel’s loss and are otherwise reasonably necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Travelmarvel. If you request changes after Travelmarvel has issued your documents, Travelmarvel may charge you an administration and processing fee of $70 per person in addition to any applicable cancellation fees. TRAVELMARVEL DEPOSIT CANCELLATION PEACE OF MIND: Applicable when an upfront fee of $95 per person is paid with your deposit. The holiday package can be cancelled prior to the final payment date and your deposit will be retained as a Travelmarvel holding credit to be used for future bookings. If Deposit Cancellation Peace of Mind is claimed, monies held must be used on a future cruise or tour and cannot be redeemed against the original cruise or tour departure date. Deposit held in credit will exclude fees imposed by third parties, including but not limited to air travel, rail travel and hotels. When booking airfares through Travelmarvel (including when taking advantage of a special offer that includes air travel), standard airline cancellation fees will apply. In some cases, airfares will be non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, these fees will be deducted from the deposit paid, and therefore the credit being held. Travelmarvel Deposit Cancellation Peace of Mind applies to new bookings only and is only valid up until 100 days prior to travel. After three years, unused credit funds will incur the original cancellation conditions as per brochure. This does not replace travel insurance, which you are required to purchase at the time of booking. CHANGES TO ITINERARY: Itineraries and hotels for 2019 are subject to change. Any new tour inclusions that appear in the main 2019 Canada and Alaska brochure will also apply to all pre-release bookings based on the tour code. These are included at no extra cost. Full details of itineraries and new inclusions for 2019 will be available upon the launch of the main 2019 Canada and Alaska brochure. CHANGES DUE TO WEATHER: Sometimes due to elements beyond Travelmarvel’s control, it may be necessary to make alternations to your itinerary. Please note that the optional floatplane flight and the Blue River Safari start operating in mid-May. If unavailable, a refund or alternative will be offered on tour.

FORCE MAJEURE: Force Majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Travelmarvel’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Travelmarvel, which includes, but is not limited to: (a) war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; (b) natural disaster (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide), adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels; (c) nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; or (d) change in law, meaning, enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation, determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time. TERMINATION OF BOOKING CONTRACT OR CHANGE OF TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE: In the event of a force majeure event making it impossible or unsafe for Travelmarvel to deliver all or part of the holiday package, Travelmarvel will refund the customer for the unused part of the holiday package less any reasonable losses incurred before cancellation. Losses may amount to a substantial proportion of the booking price. Travelmarvel will use reasonable endeavours to minimise losses incurred by customers. Customers must take out travel insurance to protect themselves against loss in these circumstances. HOLLAND AMERICA LINE: Guaranteed Ocean-view Stateroom is based on Cat FF and above. Once allocation of staterooms is sold out all further requests are subject to availability and a surcharge may apply. Specific cabin requests and meal times are requests only. Verandah upgrade pricing is based on the below categories: ms Volendam B ms Nieuw Amsterdam VD ms Noordam VD ms Westerdam VD ms Oosterdam VD Once sold out surcharges will apply. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is not included in your holiday package. For your protection it is mandatory that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes (without limitation) coverage for medical expenses, loss of luggage, cruise and land content and airfare charges that may occur due to cancellation, disruption, loss of deposit or strikes. SOLO TRAVELLER: A limited number of single rooms are available by request at time of booking. Solo supplement must be paid with final payment. TWIN OR DOUBLE ROOMS: Accommodation in all hotels, regardless of the rating, is in standard rooms based on twins or doubles unless otherwise stated. TRIPLE ROOMS: Triple Room prices are subject to availability and based on existing room/cabin sizes, hotel bedding (twin/double beds) or stateroom availability on cruises (normally max. 2 beds per room). VARIATION TO ITINERARIES: URVWVS17: 26 Apr. – Blue River Safari is not available and this tour will stay at the South Thompson Inn, Kamloops in lieu of Mike Wiegele Blue River. OUT OF DATE RANGE FLIGHTS: If airlines have not published their schedule at the time this brochure was printed or at the time of booking, Travelmarvel will estimate the cost of airfares connected with your holiday package. When the airline releases flight inventory and airfares, Travelmarvel will confirm seats and pricing to you by sending you an updated invoice. Once flights have been confirmed by you and payment has been received Travelmarvel will issue your ticket/s.
