Wednesday Prayer Priority July 26, 2017 We pray for continued unity of the Body of Christ at Christian Life Church. May our unity be evident to all as we serve The Lord together. Scripture focus:
21 Days of Corporate Prayer and Fasting August 1 through August 7 Personal Repentance, Spiritual Awakening and Revival (including marriage and family) Special request: unsaved loved ones, marriage relationships, rebellious children, finances, etc. Romans 2:1-11 will be our scripture basis for praying this week.
Psalm 133:1 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! John 17:22-23 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 1 Corinthians 12:12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
August 8 through August 14 Church Repentance, Spiritual Awakening and Revival (specifically Christian Life Church but also The Church in America) Special requests: increased anointing for pastors, wisdom for church elders, supernatural power to be seen in services and ministries, etc. 2 Corinthians 7:1-13 will be our scripture basis for praying this week.
Ephesians 1:10 It is God's will to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. Ephesians 4:2-3 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:12-13 God has given these ministries to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Colossians 3:13-15 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
August 15 through August 21 National Repentance, Spiritual Awakening and Revival (government leaders, social influencers, and prodigals to come home) Special requests: God to move through Christians in music and film industries; Executive, Judicial and Legislative Branches of government to be led by the Holy Spirit of God involving policy, laws, and future plans for America, etc. Daniel 9:1-23 will be our scripture basis for praying this week.
