Downpipes with sport catalysts The basis for the G-POWER’s electronic power output increases – the Bi-Tronik for petrol and the D-Tronik for diesel engines - uses the hidden potential of turbocharged engines. Either “plug & play” with an external performance module (Bi/D-Tronik 5) or with the bespoke remapping procedure of the Bi-/D-Tronik 2 conversion. In combination with downpipes and modified turbochargers the power output increase of the Bi-Tronik 2 can reach up to 900 hp/(662 kW) and 1100 Nm (BMW M5/M6 models). Of course, the G-POWER technicians considered motor hardware compatibility in their power upgrade as well: The Bi/D-Tronik maintain all motor protection and diagnosis functions. Therefore, the G-POWER technicians make a huge effort during the development process of the B-/D-Tronik that is unique in the market for power output increases. Excessive test runs on the test stand, test drives and the experience of more than 30 years of engine tuning are the basis for the unchallenged quality of the G-POWER power output increases.

SUPERIOR POWER THANKS TO INNOVATIVE SUPERCHARGER TECHNOLOGY MADE IN GERMANY >> The G-POWER supercharger system offers the ultimate combination of a high-rev engine and lots of power: Aggressive revving from mid-range, with increasing torque until the max. limit of 8.500 rpms. Its throttle response is extremely direct and – because of the forced induction – even better than the standard engine. The G-POWER concept creates a true sports car engine at its best! The G-POWER supercharger systems are designed with state-of-the-art engineering tools (CAD). Furthermore, the parts and components are optimized in the progress by FEM procedures just like virtual computational fluid dynamics analysis (CFD analysis). Naturally GPOWER relies on a state-of-the-art serial production for the supercharger systems featuring e.g. aluminium casting, continuous CNC production, 3D dimensional checks, supercharger test bench runs, etc. It goes without saying that your BMW is completely diagnosable and that all BMW protection systems for engine and transmission are still intact after the modification.

THE ULTRALIGHT HIGH-TECH ALTERNATIVE IN 20, 21 AND 23 INCHES >> G-POWER HURRICANE RR forged alloy wheels are made from 6061 grade aluminium, a material favoured by the aerospace industry for its unique combination of low weight and high strength. During the development process of this wheel the special characteristics of this high-tech material have been taken into account and thus establishes the basis for its low weight. As an example, the 9.0 x 21-inch HURRICANE RR wheel weighs just 11.4 kg with a load index of 780 kg. The G-POWER HURRICANE RR forged wheel comes in three distinctive colours - Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey and Stardust Silver. In addition you can combine any of these colours with a „DIAMONT-CUT“ finish, then the front of the wheels is removed from its paint and subsequently refinished and sealed with clear lacquer. With the HURRICANE RR wheel generation G-POWER has made its vision of the perfect wheel come true.

FORM AND FUNCTION THE G-POWER AERODYNAMIC PROGRAM >> Made from carbon and with a motorsport inspired design the G-POWER aerodynamic components provide for the authentic G-POWER look and make the potential of the upgraded G-POWER models visible. Next to the sportier look the G-POWER aerodynamic components reduce lift over both axles and reduce the vehicle’s weight. Starting point for the development of the G-POWER VENTURI bonnet was the technical necessity to vent the engine bay effectively from the hot air emitted by charged engines. Otherwise, a decline in power would be in the cards, since the engine electrics makes use of diagrams with reduced degrees of ignition when a certain temperature limit is reached, in order to safeguard the engine. The “DYNAMIC VENTING” technology of the G-POWER VENTURI bonnet makes sure that the engine bay is actively vented and accordingly provides for performance optimal engine temperatures. Thus, the G-POWER power output increase is supported best.

Basic idea is the implementation of our customer’s projects without the compromises known from conventional automobile tuning, since the know-how from G-POWER covers all fields of automotive manufacturing and can be applied basically to any kind of car. From the design to the technical engineering followed by the production according to OEM standards, G-POWER takes care about all these tasks that are necessary in order to create products like e.g. the spectacular X5/-X6 TYPHOON widebody kit. MORE EMOTIONS FOR YOUR AMG PERFORMANCE UPGRADES FROM G-POWER >> Since many of our customers have an AMG in addition to a BMW in the garage, G-POWER is using its know-how for the high-performance models from Affalterbach, as well. Consequently, the G-POWER product program for the AMGs starts where the emotions are created: the engine. G-POWER uses the hidden potential of the standard engine for an increase in maximum output. This is done by a microprocessor upstream of the standard engine control unit, the G-POWER Bi-Tronik 5. Of course, all the diagnostic and protective functions of the original engine control unit are retained after the electronic power increase by G-POWER. In addition to the performance upgrades, G-POWER also offers ultra light forged wheels for many AMG models. Here, engineering meets elegant design. The G-POWER HURRICANE RR forged wheel is made from a particularly lightweight high-tech aircraft aluminum, significantly reducing the unsprung masses. This ensures a clear improvement of the standard air suspension system’s handling.

THE ULTIMATE TRACK TOOLS ARE MADE BY G-POWER >> G-POWER’s history began more than 30 years ago with the modification of BMW 02 models for the motorsport competition use. Back then as well as today G-POWER has been the competent partner for all motorsport enthusiasts who want to transform their vehicle into a true Clubsport model with increased maximum output, reduced weight and more downforce for the front and rear axle. Larger brakes made of carbon or steel, as well as a complete adjustable coil-over suspension complete the G-POWER Clubsport package. Complete project cars can be built by the G-POWER Manufactory like e.g. the G-POWER M3 GT2 S HURRCANE that is inertly build for motorsport purpose. It features a complete Carbon widebody kit incl. doors and hoods. Further highlights amongst others are the compressed air lifting system, a limited slip differential with separate oil cooler, windows made from macrolon and last but not least an integrated fire extinguishing system. Of course, similar projects can be implemented based on a different basis e.g. the BMW M2 or the M4.

IN-HOUSE ENGINEERING THE CORE COMPETENCE OF G-POWER >> G-POWER is one of the few car tuning companies worldwide that still employs its own engineering department. The technical know-how available to our technicians through G-POWER’s integration into the ASA Group is state-of-the-art. This is demonstrated by e.g. the continuous development in CAD, the 3D laser scanner enabling „reverse engineering“, computer simulations, material testing and runs e.g. on chassis or performance test stands. A specialty of G-POWER is the so-called “High-Performance Testing” with test drives on high-speed ovals in southern Italy’s in Nardo or northern Germany’s Papenburg, which often result into a new high-speed world record. In addition, everyday driving cycles and hot climate testing in the United Arab Emirates complete the G-POWER test program. This combination of know-how and excessive testing is the basis for the above- average G-POWER quality that you can trust.

These attributes of G-POWER products are based on thorough engineering and a state-of-the-art production process, because quality is not just a coincidence. For example, G-POWER’s Vertical CNC High Speed Milling machine uses an innovative clamping device that guarantees a particularly low- vibration and therefore precise production. On the other hand, metal surface lathing is then carried out on a special long travel CNC lathe that can accommodate the large 23-inch forged wheels available from G-POWER. The consistent above-average quality of all G-POWER products is ensured by a comprehensive quality assurance system, which is based on the specifications for automotive OEM manufacturers. This includes e.g. test runs on our in-house supercharger test stand, as well as the control of the dimensional accuracy by means of 3D coordinate measuring machine.
