Not all traffic sources are direct response traffic. A lot of people are going around the internet right now teaching all kinds of online traffic sources. Let me just tell you exactly what direct response traffic means.

It means you have an offer; you give it to a particular audience that's most likely to purchase from you. You’ve seen some of this stuff traditionally already so don’t over think it and think that because it’s the internet it’s supposed to be complicated.

It’s as simple as you have an offer, something valuable to a particular demographic of customers, and then you offer it to them, and you position it in a place where they’re most likely going to find it. Not only that, you position it in front of people that are most likely interested in what you are offering. Most people miss the road on this one. If you’re in a business right now and you are building it either online or offline, the same thing counts. People are making the same mistakes all over the place.

You have people offline going to the mall to distribute flyers on the cars. You're wasting your time if you’re doing that. You have a one in a million chance that you’re going to have anybody pick up the phone and actually call you, much less buying your products, services or opportunities. From everybody that calls you, you probably have only one out of 20 people that will actually buy. So if you're doing that you're wasting your time.

Think about this. Traditionally you have infomercials on your TV late at night. You’ve seen many of the big gurus that teach people how to make money and things of that nature. Even though many of them are going to sell you crap that you really can’t put to use, right? But they’re still on the TV marketing like a PRO.

They know that most people that are looking to make millions are probably watching videos at night and they can catch their best attention at night. The “most likely” keyword phrase comes in right there too# they probably can catch your attention “most likely” at night because the kids are off to bed, the dog is somewhere in the corner quiet—everything is quiet.

There are also fewer cars on the road making noise even if the prospect has a road passing through close to the house. They know most likely the prospect is going to watch and listen attentively enough to make an order by calling the 800 number, going to a website or take the desired action .

So the key word phrase is “most likely.” The keyword phrase that you really want to attach to direct response traffic is positioning your offer in front of “massive traffic.” There is another keyword right there# “Massive.”

In other words, if your traffic is 2 or 3 people per day being exposed to your offer, that is not good enough. You pay for advertisement just like you would pay for advertising if you own a McDonald's business. If you owned any kind of franchise outlet which they would normally charge you hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to start, you know for a fact you’re going to need money to market because they're going to check your existing assets-fixed and liquid. They’re going to make sure that you absolutely understand that you need to be an entrepreneur and you will spend money on advertising.

You position your opportunity in front of a demographic, a certain type of people that will “most likely” buy from you. That's the number one secret. Here’s a typical example of how it works.

Let’s say for example you position an ad in Yahoo, Bing, Google or Facebook. Any one of those platforms are great places to position your ad, and when people click on your ad, they come to something we call a capture, landing or squeeze page. The purpose of that page is simply to pique people’s interest and collect their contact information so you can send them some more materials. When they opt in to that form, meaning they enter their name, email or phone number, we call it a lead. The more information you ask for the less number of people are going to fill out the form. The way we personally prefer to do this is to collect email addresses ONLY. There's no need for name because I'm not going to be calling their names. We collect the email address so we can send the prospect some free information and possible exclusive offers.

Yes it's absolutely true, free information that will take anywhere from 5 days to 60 days that the prospect is going to receive for free. Free information that will teach them how to build a business successfully online: or free information about whatever the offer is. They will totally appreciate you. Not only appreciate you, they will literally on autopilot be building a relationship with you.

All of this stuff that I’m talking about right now is automated. So they click on an ad, they get on the landing page; they fill out a form in exchange for some free information.

If you’ve done it the right way you should have between 20% and 50% of people filling out the form. When they fill out the form, they should be landing on a one time or a limited time offer--meaning you’re giving them a special offer for taking action immediately. comfortable. You shouldn’t care about that because this is why you need massive traffic.

I don't care how good you are of a closer. You’ve had people tell you “we can teach you how to close about 50% of the people.” That’s complete nonsense talk, just so you know. If you close 20% of people that actually see an offer, you must be a genius or something. Here’s the best part of the situation, you don't need to close 20%; if you close 5% to 7% of people that see an offer, and if you know how to do that effectively you'll become profitable and you’ll totally build a 7 figure income. You don’t need to be able to close 20% or 50% of people. You don’t need to waste your emotional energy on why it is a given to get 90% rejections in effective sales. After all, they are auto electronic rejections anyway.

I admit. We don’t like rejections as humans. Let’s be frank and honest with ourselves. We all are humans and we don’t like rejection. We don’t like people telling us “NO”. The key to success in business is to get as many “NO’s” and rejections as possible through your sales process. That also automatically has direct proportionality to how many “YES’s” you will get, and “YES’s” are going to make you a fortune.

You have people on the third step here paying you to take a limited time offer immediately--just for taking a fast action. Then you do the same thing over and over again. As you buy ads, you figure out the ads that gave the most money. Therefore you must have a kind of traffic tracking device. That’s part of the direct response traffic secret. You must be tracking what is converting to money for you and what is not converting. Traditionally in most businesses, they teach to just put a shop anywhere, and go pitch your family and friends, and there’s no way to tell if one activity is paying you better than the other. If you’re going to do that, first of all you’re not well optimized. Second of all you’re going to get tired of that sooner or later because you’re going to lose money automatically.

The more money you lose the closer you are to absolutely becoming one of those 95% in any business that crash and burn before one year. Actually statistically, it’s before five years, but what I’ve found in my own statistics is before six months, most people quit their businesses. I am sure you don't want to be one of those people.

If you have any interest whatsoever in any kind of viral infrastructure or viral traffic, which means other people referring people to you or tools referring people to you, this is the time to set it up. You don’t want to set that up before buying traffic first. That’s the mistake that most people make. They try to setup some viral sneaky little free traffic getting thing in the beginning and that’s not going to work. You set that up after you buy traffic because that becomes extra bonus money in your pocket instead of you depending your life and business on hope and getting lucky.

Quick recap! Step one: You want to get direct response traffic to a landing page. Step two: Give them a one-time offer that they can buy immediately relatively cheap for taking fast action. The more people do that up front action, the more profitable you get. You can now turn the money around for more ads.

“Wait a minute; the money is not for spending?” Not yet. I’m going to show you how to get the money that will make you a fortune. This money is actually for recurring marketing. This money you’re getting on step three right here when you make sales is for buying more traffic. Most businesses especially when we’re talking about network marketing and home business opportunities are trying to have you make the money that’s going to make you a fortune upfront, and it doesn’t work like that my friend.

Tell me how come they haven't taught you how to do that? And even people that claim they have taught you how to do that, they have conversions that suck. Literally all you’re making money from is some stupid $47 stuff, and you can’t retire from a job like that. If you’re making one sale every other day of $47, and they’re only paying you $15 commission out of that, you can't create a fortune with that, it’s impossible, think about it and do the simple math. You can’t.

So here’s how it works. I had to put up a typical example here. You have an example right in front of you of a regular Google page. Somebody typed in “airline ticket”. You can see a couple of advertisers who have ads in front of Google for that keyword phrase. This is the best direct response traffic you can possibly get. But obviously there are challenges here and there. That’s why we’re here. Look at the one in red circles to the right and at the top. You have a paid ad—somebody paid money to be up there. of search engine optimization (S.E.O). There are little sneaky things here and there you can do, but they don’t work all the time.

You don’t want to base your business over stuff that doesn’t work all the time or stuff that works only a very little amount of the time as compared to how many times you try it. Here’s the thing with those red side and top circles, you can get red hot leads from there and the best part is that you can turn them on or off at any time that you want. There are multiple platforms where you can place an ad like this.

Let’s dissect this example. Someone is looking for an airline ticket, and there you have an ad, the second one to the right, that says cheapest airline ticket.

What else are you looking for when searching for airline tickets than a cheap airline ticket? What else are most people that are most likely to buy from you right now searching for? So when you have someone using the word “cheap” in their quest or search, you are allowed to assume that they are looking to buy something--but cheap.

typical example of direct response traffic. If you look up there, you’ll see that number, 22.9 million web pages are competing to rank for that keyword phrase, “airline tickets”. They are not competing because they are stupid; they are competing for the money that’s already being spent on Google.

Here’s another platform you can advertise on and we personally advertise here heavily. You probably came in through our funnel by way of Facebook. If you look on the right hand side, you can see those ads.

Here’s the beauty about building a business online. You can target the kind of people you want and the type of clients you want to work with by simply targeting their interests, their behaviors etc. Facebook tracks all that stuff for you and they allow you to pay a little fee, $1 here and there for each person that click on you ad.

Obviously, not everybody that clicks will buy, right, but that’s the secret. I don’t need everybody to buy. I am still going to be in profit, and build a 7 figure empire. I can even pay as much as $10 per click if I want based on the secrets that I am sharing with you in this book.

That’s how profitable this business can be when you get it right. You can target interests. You can target behaviors. You can target demographics like age and gender and see exactly who is converting more.

We’ve personally noticed over time and different tests that women mostly are interested in taking charge of their financial lives, and that’s why I love women.

Let me dispel some of the myths right here right now. You have people telling you send your ad to Facebook fan page so you can have some viral stuff going on. You don’t need to do that because you’re reading this book right now.

Let’s Bust Some Myths. You don’t need to send your Facebook traffic to a Facebook fan page because you think there is a better chance that Facebook will approve your ad. Facebook doesn’t necessarily need you to send your traffic to their own platform before they can approve your ad. A lot of times when you send people to a Facebook fan page you have distractions like other peoples’ ads that can cause distractions from taking the ultimate action that you desire. As much as possible you want to avoid sneaky stupid stuff like this.

There are certain rules in place that Facebook wants you to do when you are sending traffic outside. You might pay .22¢ more per click. That’s nothing as compared to the potential profits of this business. You’re not going to pay more than $1 per click as I’m not paying more than $1 per click at this time. I’m paying as little as .50¢ per click on some of my ads but I’m willing to pay as much as $10 per click, but I set a bid of $1 and my ads are doing just fine.

So here’s the point of this particular lesson. You can set your ad and target interest, behavior, and demographics and there’s nothing better than the fact that you can actually test and see which one is converting better for you and you can focus all your marketing dollars on that. If you want to build a business, you need to swim with the sharks of the business. If you don’t want to swim with the sharks, you’re going to get lost in the middle of this ocean. Finally I want to bust this myth of “free traffic”, there is no such thing and let’s be clear about that. There are email solo ads which you pay money for, there are banner ads, and these are all different direct response traffic sources that are very effective that you can learn more about as we go along.

Is there viral traffic? Yes there is, but you should not be setting up viral traffic upfront. The appropriate thing is to buy traffic first, get them through your sale process, and then you can set up some viral stuff that will make them automatically, consciously or unconsciously refer people back to you for free. That’s what we call viral traffic. But if you make your business depend on that, that is you depending on hope of getting lucky. Your business will end up crashing and burning.

Chapter 2 2nd SECRET List Building

You have probably heard people tell you that your list is an asset. Even the traditional network marketing companies tell you to build a list of prospects and sort through the list. Truly you need to be sorting through the list, but sorting does not replace selling—never. You can sort, but you’re still selling. I know this might be your first time hearing that.

As a matter of fact one of my mentors said selling is sacred. If you don’t sell, people don’t value your offer and you. Let’s be frank, people have a certain subconscious thing anything free has no value. To a certain extent, they are right.

Back to topic, list building and sorting through the list is powerful. You want to build a prospects list, you want to build a customers list, and then you want to build followership. The more people follow you, the more

audience you have listening to you. Last but not least, the more money you’re going to make.

I want to show you how to build a loyal followership that will buy anything you recommend. Obviously you want to be recommending stuff the right way—ethically, i.e. stuff that is really going to serve your customers.

We all have problems one way or the other. There is somebody right now working on a product ready to provide a solution for my problem or you can call it answers to my questions. Even after selling their product to me, they may recommend other related solutions over time for me so I can be served adequately and in the process become a loyal follower of their brand.

We see that in entertainment too. We have reality TV shows that we follow loyally because they entertain us all the time. Our problem is that as consumers, we need to be entertained every now and then. These people position their lives on reality TV, game shows, sports etc. as solutions. They get paid for doing that, and we get served with value which is entertainment.

The same thing in your business, if you can’t compare your business to what I just said you may in the wrong business. Maybe you just need help identifying it. You can do it and we can help.

You must find absolute fulfillment in serving people before you can create a fortune. If you don’t have that, unfortunately you have no business being an entrepreneur. Even on a corporate or regular job, you still have to serve somebody. The difference is that you get paid by way of salary which means getting paid less than your worth.

I take that back. You are not getting paid less than your worth. It is more of your potential that you are getting paid less than. To reframe, if you’re serving people by way of a job and getting paid $30,000 to $40,000 per year or even less, you are getting paid less than your potential but you are getting paid your exact worth. However, you can increase your worth by educating yourself and implementing with massive action. Your worth and your potential are two different things.

So, secret number two, you need to build a list of customers, prospects, and build a followership. It’s as simple as that.

The list you build is a major asset. That’s really the only asset in anyone’s business. Everything can crash and burn. The relationships you create in this business, outside of this business and/or even in your personal life, are the major assets when it comes to building a business because that’s what we build on—the emotional relationships as well.

You have heard of the example of Donald Trump, who built millions of dollars in assets and lost everything back in the nineties because of the attack on the economy at that time. Everything crashed and burned. This guy was down in the negative hundreds of millions of dollars.

Now obviously time is a big asset too, because if you don’t have time you can’t build a list right? But here’s the thing, this one will fall under the couple of major assets that you have in your business.

Automated List Building Tools You shouldn’t be building a list manually. It just won’t make any business sense in 21st century. You want to invest in an auto responder. This is a tool that keeps a database of you prospects and customers.

Whatever you pay on your auto-responder, $20 per month or whatever you’re paying on that, is absolutely going to be the best money you invest in your business because that’s where you make most of your money from if you follow our exact blueprint like we’re teaching you right now.

Let’s Bust Some Myths. In traditional MLMs or network marketing home businesses, your upline probably taught you to just put 15-100 people from your friends and family on your prospect list immediately. If you’ve been told that you can build a business or downline this way, it is a lie.

The truth is most people are only going to get pain and rejections from that 15-100 of your so-called warm market. It doesn’t work for most people. You might have 1 out of 100 people that are just lucky and they happen to find a shark in the midst of their 15-100 that gets it.

Here is the problem. Usually, in MLM or network marketing you have those two or three organization legs that you’re supposed to build. But if you find one leg those MLM corporate people are so sneaky that you’re not going to make money even if that one organization leg is booming in production.

(MLM is the same as network marketing through out this book).

You’re going to have to work harder to get the second organization leg to produce and that might be the worst nightmare you’ve ever had to encounter in your life and business. If you don’t understand everything I just said, that means you’re brand new to the home business arena called MLM or Network Marketing; don’t worry about it.

Just understand that your friends and family are relatively bad quality of prospects. They already know me; they already have a relationship with my list by way of relationship marketing 2.0. When I randomly pick up the phone and call a customer out of the blues, they love me to death for doing that, and I make someone’s day. It just makes me feel fulfilled.

Guess what again, from my experience, they usually quit sooner or later.

Brand marketing and strategizing is a big deal in any business as there is need to stand out from the crowd and multitudes. There are some systems out there right now that when you search any of our industry related keyword terms you’ll see the same system being marketed all over the place by different so called attraction marketers. Let me be clear that there’s nothing wrong with that. But upfront of you sales funnel, it is advised that your brand stays clear of any kind of shadow or cover to stand a chance of massive success in online business.

Brand Control Ownership & Uniqueness People must know you and/or your brand. In other words, it doesn’t necessarily have to be you.
