This is an experiential retreat designed to move you into the next stage of your life, closer to you and your soul path. During the firewalk ceremony you will feel the fire of the phoenix; your soul burns barriers and limiting believes stopping you form expressing the real YOU. You will have a very special ceremony in the ocean which is a meditation for a deep internal cleanse at the levels of: mind, body, spirit. This ceremony enhances the connection with mother nature and also along with the other participants you will help to heal the waters of the world.

Free Time Everyday in between workshop/experiences and meals you’ll have plenty of time to rest, relax and explore beautiful Alya. There are a variety of frutal trees around the property for you to taste. Also there is a beautiful creek which is only a 10 min walk from Alya, the perfect place to go for a swim and refresh. *Daily schedule subjected to change and accommodate to group needs.
About the Teachers: . Vanessa is a lunar coach for women in business (using the menstrual cycle to its best effect), a women’s wellness retreat facilitator, and a firewalk instructor. She believes now is the time to redefine womanhood, in a way that honors all the cycles of women and mother earth. Her passion for empowering women has led her around the world, learning techniques from ancient traditions to support women on their journey back to the authentic feminine nature, using the innate tools of the menstrual cycle and menopause.
. During her travels Vanessa was identified by Shihan Ryu Shinzo and Shizen Do as a teacher who carries the ancestral wisdom of the Phoenix. For 18017 years the Shizen Do tradition (most prominent in Japan) prophesied the return of the Phoenix wisdom through a soul incarnate in the Americas. Remarkably, Vanessa’s life story mirrored the prophesy written 18017 years ago and through a series of tests and rituals she was anointed as Suzaku, the guardian of fire and love. Before becoming a wisdom teacher, Vanessa helped to create the evaluation system to rate world’s top purpose-driven organization, known as GameChangers 500. During this time she became passionate about raising a new paradigm for working women, through honoring the unique gifts of the feminine in the business world.
About the Teachers: Sensei Ryu teaches about an ancient spiritual tradition called Shizen Do. This tradition belongs to the world and the universe, not a country, a religion or a philosophy. Ryu’s mission is to transmit the Shizen pathway and merge it with the sacred philosophies of the world.
The knowledge of the Shizen tradition has been inherited through family lineage for generations. Motoharu Fujiwara, a grandmaster of Shizen in Japan, is a direct descendant of the Samurai family that protects the Shizen Do path throught history. In the eighties, the teacher Motoharu came to Mexico City for specialized services to the country. When Diego (Sensei Ryu) was five, Motoharu begins to train him in the school of the martial arts and in the path of Shizen. His name as a teacher of the Shizen ways is Ryu Shinzo and he holds the highest rank of this spiritual Path. He was chosen by the Sensei Motoharu to be the inheritor of the tradition and he is the only Shizen teacher living outside of Japan.
About Alya Retreat Center: Alya means to ascend, to rise, to elevate. Alya Retreat Center was established in 2009 by Shlomo Eizencot in the beautiful north pacific coast of Costa Rica. How to get to Alya Center: Arrival day: Saturday January 21st Flying to Costa Rica: Please arrive to Liberia International Airport (airport code LIR) Make sure your flight arrives January 21st, no later than 1 pm so that you have enough time to arrive to the retreat center, get yourself comfortable and centered for the opening ceremony at 6 pm. Shuttle service is not included, however we are happy to help you book it. Shuttle from Liberia Airport to Alya retreat center is around 2 hours.
Note: There is another international airport called San Jose (airport code SJO) We don’t suggest to arrive/ depart from that airport. SJO airport is close to the city and it is 5 hours drive to the beach where the retreat center is. If you choose to take this long route we will be happy to assist you with your shuttle too.
How to get to Alya Center: Departure day: Saturday January 28th Leaving Costa Rica We will finish with breakfast at 8 am on Saturday January 28th. Feel free to leave the retreat center after 8 am, otherwise check out time is at 11 am. Please make sure your departure flight is after12 pm. So that you have enough time to get from the retreat center to the Liberia airport. Shuttle service to the airport is not included, however we are happy to help you book it.
Note: There is another international airport called San Jose (airport code SJO) We don’t suggest to arrive/ depart from that airport. SJO airport is close to the city and it is 5 hours drive to the beach where the retreat center is. If you choose to take this long route we will be happy to assist you with your shuttle too.

Cancellation Policy: All payments are non-refundable so getting travel insurance is suggested. If a cancellation needs to be made and someone fills your space we will refund your entire payment including the deposit. If you communicate that you won’t be able to join the retreat by Dec 21 2016 and there is no other person to fill your spot we will return payment minus the deposit.
