VCMS 8th GRADE The VCMS 8TH grade picnic will be held on Thursday, May 26th at Fowler Park from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Students will be taken by school bus**, for a great day of fun with their classmates and teachers. Students are allowed to bring items such as baseballs, gloves, board games, cards, etc. on the bus from home. If your student wants to bring a bat, lacrosse stick, basketball, or any other large or potentially hazardous piece of equipment, a parent will need to bring those items to and from school. These items must be put in the front office upon arrival at school and not carried to the classrooms. Please make sure any personal items have your student’s name on them. The school is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items that students choose to bring. If you should need to check out your child during the picnic, you will have to follow regular check out procedures at the school and then come to the park to collect your child. The front office will provide you with the necessary documentation to be allowed to collect your child at the park. The Forsyth County Code of Conduct will be fully enforced including the dress code. Please make sure any personal items have your student’s name on them. The school is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items that students choose to bring.
