Hockey is one of Canada’s favorite sports. Come and learn the basics of the game and finish off with a friendly family scrimmage. All ages welcome.

The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is observed annually on 21 March. IDERD celebrations have taken place in MHSD 76 each year, for the past 22 years, during that week. We celebrate with activities based on First Nations Culture with powwow dancing, drumming and singing. The event is organized and funded by FNMI Education in the school district. This event assists in the elimination of racism and increases awareness for all students in the district. Public welcome. Coffee and The POST Thrift Store offers free Coffee Hot Chocolate and Hot Chocolate. Every child under 15 years will receive a free book of their choice. Everything in the store will be 10% off. All funds raised will help support Mental Health Programs and Services provided by CMHA. SpiritualiTEA Come for tea, fellowship, music and conversation centered around the question ”How does your spirituality contribute to your wellbeing?”. Participants are encouraged to bring something that symbolizes their spirituality. Safe Families Constable Claypool will talk about the Intervention Safe Families Intervention Team and his Team role in partnership with the Medicine presentation Hat Women’s Shelter Society.

This rock opera tells the story of one year in 7:00–9:00 PM the life of a group of bohemians struggling in Medicine Hat Public New York City`s East Village. The story centers Library Theatre around roomates Mark and Roger. While a former tragedy has made Roger numb to life, Mark tries to capture it through his attempts to make a film. In the year that follows, the group deals with love, loss, AIDS, and life in one truly powerful story.

STILL/FALLING follows Nina as she tries to come to terms with what it means to struggle with anxiety and depression, and to rise above it with as much strength, and as few scars as possible. Never experienced Messy Makers at Parent LInk Centre? Join us for some sensory play stations and get messy. This is parent guided play event. It is best suited for children ages 0-6. Parent supervision is required. Challenge stereotypes and prejudices by “checking out” a “Human Book” and talking for 30 minutes with your borrowed book. “Human Books” are available on diverse topics.

REDI Enterprises is proud to present the family friendly movie Wonder. WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. August is a boy with facial differences who is attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time. Free popcorn and water provided. In this series of over 50 photographic works, Elaine Freedman’s portraits embrace a diversity of women in the Medicine Hat area.
