Oluwaseun Johnson Akinlade is a first year MSc student in Plant Science at Wageningen University and Research. He studied Plant Breeding and Seed Technology at Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. Oluwaseun is interested in plant breeding and development of agricultural

crops for environmental suitability and desires to breed crops that can withstand various environmental conditions and for people living in harsh regions. Between 2015 and 2016 he worked with University of Jos, Nigeria, as a National Youth Service Corps where he worked directly as a link between the University and maize farmers. He has worked with FarmIntegral and Services an agricultural consultancy company as a field supervisor. Growing up from farm, He realised that with good food there might not be a need to have a personal doctor and people are what they eat.
