The 100 lions in the pride will be sold at two live auctions. The first at the Assembly Rooms on the evening of Friday 15th October at 1900hrs and the second at Komedia, Bath, on the afternoon of Sunday 17th October from 1330hrs. SECTION A: Credit Card Details All absentee bidders are requested to complete the credit card section of the Absentee Bidding Form whether they would like to purchase their lions by credit card, bankers draft or by cheque. Lions of Bath request that all final payments are made by direct bank transfer or cheque to avoid high credit card commissions and therefore no payment will be taken from your credit card account unless a bank transfer or cheque to cover the purchase of your lot/lots has still not been received by midday Thursday 21st October. Alternatively, payment may be made by PayPal via the Lions of Bath online shop at www.lionsofbath. com at a 3% surcharge to cover the PayPal commission. If your absentee bidding at the auction is successful you will be asked to make a bank transfer or post a cheque for the final hammer price of your lot/s plus VAT at 17.5% by first class post to Lions of Bath, Suite 1, Limpley Mill, Limpley Stoke, Bath, BA2 7FJ. Terms & Conditions: Lions will be sold to the highest bidder subject to reserves and the highest bid indicated by the auctioneer. The reserve price for each lion is £1,350. Payment must be made at the auction immediately after a successful bid. Payments may be made in sterling by cash, cheque with bank guarantee card, bank transfer or by credit/debit card, subject to an additional 3% commission charge. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the lions at the auction preview weekend on 9/10 October as lions will be sold “as seen” and their condition cannot be guaranteed. Lots will not be released at the auctions and only when cheque payments have cleared. Lions may be collected from the Bath Press site on Lower Bristol Road, Bath BA2 3BL on Saturday 16th October from 1200-1500, Monday 18th October from 1500-1800 or by pre-arrangement until Wednesday 27th October by emailing [email protected] or telephoning 01225 808958. Lion sculpture insurance will be the responsibility of the buyer once lots are collected from the Lions of Bath storage unit, or by Wednesday 27th October, whichever is the soonest. Any lions not collected by Wednesday 27th October will be subject to a £20 daily storage fee. Failure to collect lions more than 14 working days after the auction could result in forfeiture of the item without recompense.
