ADVANCED ULTRASOUND SHOULDER COURSE This 2-day course focuses on MSK ultrasound of the shoulder. The learning objectives of this course are: learning new scan positions, fine-tune your ultrasound examination skills and improve your anatomic knowledge of the shoulder complex. The hands-on course is ideal for physiotherapists, naprapaths, chiropractors, sonographers and medical doctors/physicians. The course will be held in English and having experience with ultrasound is a pre-requisite.
FACULTY Eugene Bakker is physiotherapist and sonographer from the Netherlands. Eugene works clinically as a physio-manual therapist and shockwave therapist and is specialized in musculoskeletal ultrasound. He also works with percutaneus electrolysis needle techniques for tendinopathies and he assist the ultrasound guided injections for the general practioners. He is a very experienced international teacher of musculoskeletal ultrasound and worked for several companies. Magnus Wennerlund works at the Orthopedic Clinic in Västerås as a physiotherapist. He is specialized in shoulder diagnostics and shoulder ultrasound. He also works with ultrasound guided injections on shoulder patients. As a consultant physiotherapist he works in the field of musculoskeletal ultrasound and give lectures and organizes courses in shoulder ultrasound.
