Beautifly Pure was established in March, 2014 by Azalia and Tim Canan. As parents of three young children, two of which have always suffered from eczema, we were always looking for good soaps and other skin products that wouldn’t irritate our children’s skin. This turned out to be a very hard task. Eventually, Azalia came up with the idea of making our own natural soap. The more research we did, the more we learned about how unnatural most soaps that are out in the current market are. At this point we knew that we wanted to start making natural soaps and other natural skin products. After beginning to produce these products, we have learned more and more about them, and about the so-called “soaps” that are in the market today. We are passionate about providing customers with a truly natural soap that is good for their skin, and we would also like to increase awareness about the unnaturalness of most soap on the market today. Both Azalia and Tim have a background in business. Azalia has an Associate’s Degree in Business, with experience in direct-selling, marketing, and customer service. Azalia is also a licensed cosmetologist. Tim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with experience in business management, engineering, and logistics. Mission: Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality in bath and body products, using only natural ingredients obtained from mother-nature. Our products are free of parabens, suIfates, phthalates, synthetic chemicals, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, chemical preservatives, or any harsh detergents. Introduction Welcome to the Beautifly Pure Affiliate Program! In this section we are going to introduce you to affiliate marketing and the foundation of Beautifly Pure llc.
What is Affiliate Marketing? Affiliate marketing is an online business model where you can earn a commission for selling someone else’s products. You do not own the product or the service you are promoting on your website, social media, email, or videos, but you do receive a commission for every paying customer you send to Beautifly Pure. The three most common payment arrangements are: pay-per-sale, pay-per-lead, and pay-per-click. Most affiliate marketing programs only pay commission for the first purchase, and they also have other restrictions such as cookie tracking, which means that if your referral makes a purchase after x amount of days then you do not get your commission. Beautifly Pure utilizes the pay-per-sale method, and there is lifetime cookie tracking in our program; you will earn a 25% commission on every sale and/or recurring sale!
Acceptance In Our Program Once you have been accepted into the affiliate program, you will receive a unique affiliate link that corresponds to the Beautifly Pure website. This affiliate link is very important, as it is the only way to track a sale made through your efforts. When you post your link in a blog post, tweet, Facebook page, You Tube video, etc., anyone who clicks on it will be re-directed to the Beautifly Pure website. From there, if the viewer decides to purchase a product, you will receive a 25% commission from the order they place. The amount of commission made solely depends on the affiliate and how they choose to promote Beautifly Pure and its products. Whether it is through a banner advertisement, product review, or giveaway, it is up to the affiliate to decide which marketing strategy works best for their viewers.

Words to Know As an affiliate marketer, there are a few key words that you need to familiarize yourself with; you will find them throughout this handbook and they will be important for you to know in the future. Affiliate: Independent marketer who promotes a business and is paid on a performance basis. Affiliate Link: A text link embedded with an affiliate’s unique tracking code. Beautifly Pure’s affiliate links are in the form of: https://www.livingbeautiflypure.com/idevaffiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=099 Affiliate ID: The number that is at the end of your unique affiliate link. Affiliate Identifier: The last part of your affiliate link in the form of: id=099 General Statistics Tab: A chart used to display an affiliate’s number of monthly clicks, sales and commissions. Sales Ratio: The ratio of sales to the total number of clicks received. Alternate Incoming Page Links: A hyperlink that leads to a specific product page instead of the Beautifly Pure homepage. Pay-per-sale: The affiliate marketing method utilized by Beautifly Pure llc. Affiliates receive 25% commission on every completed sale generated by a new or recurring customer. Tax ID: Otherwise known as a Social Security Number (SSN). A Tax ID is needed for US citizens/permanent residents when applying to the Beautifly Pure Affiliate Program. Terms and Conditions: The rules and regulations that an affiliate must agree to and follow in order join and remain a member of an affiliate program.

Getting Started Now that you have a better understanding of affiliate marketing, we’re going to lead you through the steps to get started as a Beautifly Pure affiliate. This section should be used as a guide to make sure you have covered the basics. Let’s get started!
Your Affiliate Account Once you have been accepted into the Beautifly Pure Affiliate Program, the first thing you should do is log into your affiliate account. In your account, you will find important information such as your affiliate link, banners, training materials, commission table, a handy tool called Alternate Incoming Page Links, and more...

Your Dashboard On the main page of your Dashboard, you will have access to your affiliate link, general statistics, training and marketing materials, and custom tracking links.
Affiliate Link: This is the location where you obtain your affiliate link and affiliate ID.

You can share your link in blog posts, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube videos, Google Plus, emails, etc. Tip: Your standard linking code is quite long; we recommend using a link shortener. For example: google url shortener, bit.ly, or any other one you might prefer. In the case shown above (Image 7-1), we use google url shortner and this is the result: http://goo.gl/4fepuy

General Statistics: Your general statistics can be found on your main page, and you will be able to see detailed statistics on your current commissions and traffic, which includes how many times your link has been clicked and how many of those are unique visitors.

Commissions – Here you will be able to see your current commissions, commissions pending approval, paid commissions, and active recurring commissions. Payment History – Here you will be able to view your payment history. Traffic Log – Here you will be able to get details about your visitors; for example: their IP address, referring URL, and visit date and time. My account – Here you will be able to edit your account, change your password, offer a testimonial, or upload your pic.

We have training documents in the form of pdf; those are located under training materials. Remember, it’s up to you to decide which marketing strategy works best for your viewers. The banners in your affiliate account are in the form of html coding which already contain your affiliate link. To access your automated affiliate banners, log into your affiliate account and click on Banners.

Payment Information Beautifly Pure affiliates receive 25% commission for every sale generated by a customer through their affiliate link. Payments are made once per month, for the previous month, at the beginning of every month via Paypal. Minimum balance required for payout is $10. For example: If your payout balance is $8, then that money will be held in your account through the next billing period; once your account reaches $10, you will get paid via Paypal during the next payout.

Creating Your Affiliate Disclosure In December 2009, the Federal Trade Commission released the “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.” As online social media continued to expand, the FTC wanted to address the concern that people may exaggerate the benefit of a free product or fail to let their followers know the relationship between them as an affiliate and the endorser. To comply with the FTC, you must let your followers know when you are using an affiliate link or if you are reviewing a complimentary product. We recommend reading the full FTC Endorsement Guides here.
The revised Guides – issued after public comment and consumer research – reflect three basic truth-in-advertising principles:
Endorsements must be truthful and not misleading;
If the advertiser doesn’t have proof that the endorser’s experience represents what consumers will achieve by using the product, the ad must clearly and conspicuously disclose the generally expected results in the depicted circumstances; and
If there’s a connection between the endorser and the marketer of the product that would affect how people evaluate the endorsement, it should be disclosed.”
After reading the FTC Endorsement Guides, you should create an affiliate disclosure for any website where you use affiliate links. A useful website is DisclosurePolicy.org, which helps you create a disclosure policy personalized for your site. “As for where to place a disclosure, the guiding principle is that it has to be clear and conspicuous. Putting disclosures in obscure places – for example, buried on an ABOUT US or GENERAL INFO page, behind a poorly labeled hyperlink or in a terms of service agreement – isn’t good enough. The average person who visits your site must be able to notice your disclosure, read it and understand it.”
