Agriculture Weather Dashboard TAILORED WEATHER DISPLAYS FOR THE AGRICULTURE MARKETS How favorable have growing conditions been this season? And how favorable are they likely to be over the next 10 days? Know instantly. And take an informed view of how weather will impact your business. The Agriculture Weather Dashboard on Thomson Reuters Eikon provides fast, comprehensive and relevant weather information for agriculture professionals.

SPEED AND COVERAGE Instantly and intuitively see how growing conditions have changed over the season – and how they are likely to change over the next 10-14 days. These are based on the most recent weather model outputs from the leading government agencies in the US and EU. Clear tables and maps enable you to understand the key factors that directly govern the growth of crops. We process the latest forecasts from the EU and the US within seconds, so you receive updated maps and tables ahead of the rest of the market. The information is sourced directly from the Global Forecast System in the US, and the European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasting in the EU.

MEASUREMENTS WHERE THEY MATTER You need information on the weather at centers of agriculture – not at cities and airports. So we bypass the standard city-centric data that most forecasters concentrate on and draw our data exclusively from crop-growing regions. The result is that you see weather information in a way that is uniquely representative of the growing environment.

Unique visualizations give instant insight Clear displays of historical and projected values mean you can see significant variations from the norm right away.

UNIQUE VISUALIZATIONS See what’s important; see it immediately. Are growing conditions becoming more or less favorable? • Tables enable you to quickly spot changes between the most recent forecast and the previous day or previous model runs • Historical conditions and latest forecasts illustrated on the same charts provide instant insight into a more complete story as opposed to only previous or forecasted weather alone • Maps display recent and forecast conditions, with a focus on identifying departures from the normal, drawing your attention to areas of concern

Thirty-year climatology (normals) are available as charts, giving you the chance to make quick and easy comparisons with previous years. Also available are 30 years of historical data for observed conditions (precipitation, plus minimum, maximum and average temperatures), which can be downloaded for further analysis. What you get is data that is high-quality, reliable and exhaustive.

What’s happened so far this season? How and where does it differ from normal?

Geographic views enable you to quickly grasp what growing conditions have been like across different parts of various geographies. Charts illustrate how temperature, precipitation, and soil moisture have progressed through the season. In addition to the charts, maps also allow you to view how weather conditions differ from normal across the same regions.
