Hoff enthusiastically points out that the company is currently installing a furnace tap hole fume extraction systemfor a steel plant in Lydenbur g, Mpumalanga. This project is particularly challenging becauseof the high-temper ature environment and the wide area that needs to be enclosedto ensurethat all the toxic fumes are captur edand operatorsin close proximity remain functional and safe,he explains.
