s Khuddam-ulAhmadiyya, Ogun State has attended the 2017 World Blood Donor Day organized by the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), Abeokuta Centre in conjunction with Ogun State Hospital Management Board on Wednesday, June 14th 2017 at Oba Adisa Odeleye Park, Sokori Abeokuta, Ogun State. Dignitaries at the event include: Hon. Commissioner for Health, Ogun State; Permanent Secretaries from the State Health Ministry and Hospital management board; Ogun State Qaid, Comrade Ibrahim Idris; Directors from government ministries and agencies; other invited guests and members of the public. In another development, with 52 uniformed members led by the Qaid, Bro. Ibrahim Idris, the state guarded the vicinity of Ahmadiyya Mosque, Owode Yewa, the venue of the rst Ramadan Tafsir lecture organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at, Ogun State. e two lecturers were Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria, Dr Mashhud Adenrele Fashola and the National Tabligh Secretary, Dr Sa'eed Timehin. e second Ramadan Tafsir was held at Ahmadiyya Mosque, Ilishan-Remo on 3rd June, 2017 with full security consciousness of 53 Majlis members. Meanwhile, the lecturers were Dr Sa’eed Timehin who talked on Surat Nahl, Dr Mojeed Hassan Bello on Surat Ankabut and Muallim Muh’d Wais Apooyin delivered talk on Surat Fatihat. In view of this, the State Qaid appreciated all Majlis members present at the lecture, imploring them to always give faith a priority in the scheme of things in their lives and make use of teachings and

Osogbo, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Osogbo Dil’a has commenced the yearly tree planting exercise at Osun State Arts and Culture Garden on 1oth June, 2017. e Management Head appreciated the Majlis initiative and promised to nurture the trees daily. Moreso, the Dil'a also launched Ask Me About Islam stand where people can inquire and get more understandings about Islam with dignitaries present prior to Ramadan lecture. Alh. Abdul Kareem described this MKAN initiative as divine guidance, while other dignitaries said this is another great approach to carry the message of Imam Mahdi to the corners of the earth. e topic of Ramadan lecture was “Striving for Moral Excellence: the Islamic Teaching” as the Chairman was Imam Lere Yusuf while the lecturer was Alh. M.M. Alaka amidst 406 listeners. In his remarks after the lecture, Imam Lere prayed openly that may Allah enable him to end his life in the fold of Ahmadiyya because he has been able learn more today, saying that Ahmadiyya is the only true Islamic sect remained on earth. n a bid to emulate the Mulk in embracing “Ask Me About Islam” Initiative and to bring Tabligh activities closer to

community people, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya,

Omi-Adio Dil’a has set the pace as the rst launcher of the programme on 3rd June, 2017. e launching, held during the 2nd Annual Ramadan Lecture organized by the Dil’a, was achieved through sensitization of members at all levels who willingly donated lots of reference books to the Stand. e Sadr, MKAN, Engr. Sa’eed Aina, represented by Mauvin Sadr I, Bro Ishaq Popoola, led other dignitaries to declare the stand open for the bene t of humanity. On the designed banner were the Dil’a official contact avenue such as the e-mail address, secretariat address, phone numbers, facebook and twitter handle. e stand entertained lot of questions that could not be answered due to lapse of time while many tracts were also distributed. Members of Ansarullah and Lajna Imaillah, after the address of Dil’a Qaid, Bro. Abdul Mujeeb Apooyin who explained the reason behind the initiative, commended the efforts of MKAN in furthering tabligh activities.

Ijagun Muqami extends Waqar-e-Amal to Benin-Ore Road

o avert any occurrence of road accident owing to dilapidated

roads, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ijagun Muqami has

extended its Waqar-e-Amal efforts to Benin-Ore Expressway on

18th June, 2017. Besides, it cleared the weeds at the water way, close to Muqami and main road leading to the mosque. Meanwhile, 6 Majlis members engaged in the work as students and people living within the vicinity thanked Majlis Khudam for its community development service.

2 members of Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya, Owode Dil’a, among others served as security guards and escorts at the last Ogun State Ramadan Tafsir held at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Owode Yewa late June.

e programme, which had 131 Khuddam, 193 Ansarullah, 265 Lajna Imaillah, 132 Atfal and 135 Nasrat in

attendance, recorded about 11 episodes of lectures by the Amir Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Dr. Maashhud Adenrele Fashola and the National Tabligh Secretary, Dr. Saheed Olurotimi Timehin. In another development, the Dil’a also organized Children’s Day celebration for Atfal and Nasrat on 20th May 2017 at Fadl-Omar Model College, Ilaro Road, Owode Yewa, which theme is “Children: Indispensable Tool to World Peace”. e children competed in various events such as Quiz, Speech, and Qur’an recitation competitions; they also entertained themselves with poems, drama and the likes. 247 Atfal, 300 Nasirat, 54 Khuddam, 50 Lajna Imaillah, 5 Missionaries, and 8 Ansarullah were in attendance.

Benin Dil’a takes STC to Primary School

T

o educate the children on the need to eschew all forms of

crimes and enlighten them on their negative impacts in

the society, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Benin Dil’a

has taken the stop the Crime Campaign to pupils of Akenzua Primary school on 30th June, 2017. e Dil’a, using the slide show, explained the major types of crime to the pupils, particularly stressing on examination malpractices and how to shun crime. In the exercise which lasted for an hour, the Majlis equally had a session with the headmaster and class teachers, all of whom were also sensitized on the subject matter as pamphlets were shared during the presentation to enable the children ow with the discussion.

In his sermon, Missionary Abdul Malik, who led the prayers, reiterated the importance of fasting and the positive impact it brings to Muslims and the world at large, admonishing all worshipers present to spend their lives according to the lessons Ramadan teaches as this should be replicated for the rest of eleven months of the lunar calendar. Majlis members and Atfal in uniform mounted strategic places for security functions and also helped to control traffic. e prayer was attended by both Ahmadis and non Ahmadis Muslims brothers and sisters with the following Tajneed: 63 Male, 68 Female, 3 uniformed Khuddam and 9 uniformed Atfal.

Senior High School, Ikorodu on 28th June, 2017 to mark its maiden Stop the Crime Campaign exercise. e campaign, which took one hour using projector, laptop, pamphlets and camera as tools, had the presence of Bro Taoheed Oladele, Naib Muhtamin Isha’at II, the Facilitator; Bro Ibrahim Awe, Dil’a Qaid; Bro Mubarak Abdul Kareem; Bro Abdur Razaq Nurain; Bro Afeez A nju; Bro Ibrahim A nju; Bro Qasim Quadr and Bro Tirmizi Musa as Coordinators. Also present during the presentation includes the Principal of the school, Mr. Kenku Eze; Vice Principal, Mrs. Aluezie, School Counsellor and Ikorodu Circuit President, Mr. Ajuwon and two(2) other teachers. Meanwhile, the principal appreciated the Majlis for the opportunity given to his school to bene t from the sensitization programme, saying that he is looking forward to welcoming the Majlis another time.

Meanwhile, the Majlis used the opportunity to launch the programme “Ask Me About Islam” which was commissioned by the Circuit President, Alhaji F.O. Salam, among others. Qasim Bakare, the visit was also meant to propagate the true virtues of Islam as inculcated by the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). It is also to appreciate Allah’s favour on them and to develop this spirit of appreciation in Atfal and Nasirat who are under the guidance of their parents. Gift items such as food stuff, clothes and cash were donated to the orphanage which has 171 less-privileged children.

members as part of the traditional hospitality of t h e Dil’a, aimed at strengthening the bond of brotherhood among members and applauding e fforts of prominent members between 28th and 29th May, 2017. A seven-man team, led by Dil’a Qaid, Bro Mashood Tella, paid a visit to EdoDelta State Qaid, Bro Islam Mustapha to appreciate him f or his pur poseful and charismatic leadership so far. He was encouraged to keep the MKAN ag ying high through his highly cherished leadership worthy of emulation. He was also presented with his portrait in the official MKAN uniform. Also, the immediate past Benin Dil’a Qaid, Bro Yakub Mustafa received members of Majlis Khuddam from all Muqameen at his residence in Benin City. Bro Yakub who has now graduated to Ansarullah played a prominent role in what has become the Benin Dil’a today. His contributions on Ta’leem/Tarbiyya were exceptional. He is a t sports man and a vibrant leader well respected and loved by the khuddam not only in the Dil’a but also across the Ilaqa. Qaid Dil’a Bro Moshood Tella together with Dila Ta’leem/Tarbiyya Secretary, Mualim Abdul Azeem Adeleke in company of six other Majlis members appreciated the former leader and thanked him for numerous contributions to the Dil’a. Consequently, a token in the form of his framed personal portrait in Khuddam regalia was presented to him.

Gwagwalada Muqami in conjunction with Lajna Imaillah has taken the Atfal and Nasrat to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on 26th June, 2017. According to Mr James, Inspector Controller Officer to Terminal D, who received the children, there are 22 airports run by FAAN in Nigeria; out of which four are international airport while the rest are local. e facilitator also introduced the Atfal and Nasrat to the landside (carpark) of the airport, the airside (aircraft

base) and the terminal building (ticketing hall, departure hall and arrival hall).

Later, the children boarded the plane. Inside the plane, they saw some hostesses who were red uniforms. Photographs were taken, questions were asked and answers were provided.

Ameer Sahib [Ghana] Joins Waqar-eAmal Exercise

Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Greater Accra undertook a cleaning exercise at the national headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Osu on Saturday, June 10, 2017. e exercise started at exactly 9am with nine Khuddam.

e

Khuddam on duty were surprised by the Ameer & Missionary-In-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih when he joined them during the waqar-e-amal. e work included distilling of gutters, arranging garden pots at the Ameer’s residence and also conveying sand from the open space to the Ameer’s residence for use at his garden. It ended around 4pm after Asr prayers. Another waqar-e-amal (dignity of labour) was organised to clean up Bustan-e-Ahmad premises ahead of the Eid-ul Fitr celebration later in the month. It started around 8:30am with 15 people comprising two Khuddam and 13 Atfal (who are students of T. I. Ahmadiyya International School). e Khuddam and Atfal were engaged in various activities including packaging of tree logs, weeding and sweeping the compound.

e program ended around 1:30pm with a total

participation of 30 Khuddam and 15 Atfal.

Fun Crab Facts for Kids 1.Crabs are decapods from the crustacean family. 2.Decapod means "ten-footed". Crabs have 10 legs, however, the first pair are its claws which are called chelae. 3.Crabs have a thick external skeleton called an exoskeleton. It is a shell made of calcium carbonate and provides protection for the soft tissue underneath. 4. Crabs live in all the world's oceans, in fresh water, and on land. There are over 4500 species of crabs. 5. Other animals with similar names such as hermit crabs, king crabs, porcelain crabs, horseshoe crabs and crab lice, are not true crabs. 6. Crabs usually have a distinct sideways walk. However, some crabs can walk forwards or backwards, and some are capable of swimming. 7. The collective name for the group of crabs is a cast. 8.Crabs communicate with each other by drumming or waving their pincers. 9.Male crabs tend to often fight with each other over females or hiding holes. 10.The Pea Crab is the smallest known species at just a few millimetres wide. The largest species is the Japanese Spider Crab, with a leg span of up to 4 m (13 ft). 11. Crabs are omnivores (meaning they eat both meat and plants), they feed mainly on algae, but also bacteria, other crustaceans, molluscs, worms, and fungi. 12. Some crab species can naturally autotomise (shed) limbs such as their claws, which then regenerate after about a year. 13. Of all marine crustaceans caught be humans each year, crabs make up 20%. This adds up to a total of 1.5 million tonnes annually. 14. The most consumed species of crab in the world is the Japanese Blue Crab.
