AMWASTE New garbage service provider for Town of Pike Road
On June 1, 2018 Amwaste will be the new garbage service provider for the Town Pike Road. Please see below important information regarding service days in the first part of June.
• June 1st is the Friday after Memorial Day. Advanced Disposal, the current provider, will begin the service week on Tuesday, May 28th. All route days for this week will run one day behind due to the holiday. Amwaste will be providing service on Friday, June 1st for the current Thursday service day and Saturday, June 2nd for the current Friday service day. • Effective June 4th, route days will change permanently for two select areas. o All homes in incorporated Pike Road who are currently on the Friday service day will be moved to Wednesdays with the first service day being June 6th. o All homes in incorporated Pike Road who are currently on the Thursday service day and located in the Historic Town Center Area will be moved to Fridays with the first service day being June 8th. (All homes in The Waters and Waterscapes area will remain on Thursday) • All homes in incorporated Pike Road who are currently on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday service day will not have service day changes.
