x – inactive, * - rookie • Kalle Kossila was selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 7, 2018 after recording seven points (1-6=7) in three games last week. Kossila, who collected a franchise-record four assists on Jan. 3 in a 4-3 victory at Texas, earned six of his seven points on the power play. • The Gulls won their 100th game in club history on Jan. 6 in a 3-2 victory over San Jose to become the first Pacific Division team to reach the milestone. San Diego leads the Pacific Division in all-time wins, win percentage (.631%) and points (212) with a record of 100-56-8-4 since the division’s inception in 2015. San Diego also leads the Western Conference in win percentage since the beginning of the 2015-16 season. • Kevin Boyle stopped 46-of-48 shots on Jan. 6 vs. San Jose to tie the club record for the most saves in a game, matching Reto Berra’s 46 saves on Jan. 5 vs. San Jose. Boyle also set a club record for most shots faced (48) in a single game, surpassing Berra’s 46 shots faced the previous game. Boyle has won five straight appearances with a 2.11 GAA and .939 SV% dating to Dec. 13. • Corey Tropp recorded his first career hat trick and the second hat trick in club history on Jan. 3 at Texas. His three goals came in a span of 3:32 in the second period (7:39, 8:15 and 11:11). Tropp posted a career-high nine-game point streak from Dec. 9-Jan. 3 (8-6=14) to match a franchise record. • Reto Berra made 46 saves for his first shutout of the season and fourth of his AHL career on Jan. 5 vs. San Jose. Berra improved to 7-4-0 on the season, while posting a 1.67 GAA and .951 SV% in his last three appearances (2-1-0).

Badini followed with an assist on Jan. 6 vs. Union for points in consecutive games. • Troy Terry earned one assist on Jan. 6 at Miami (Ohio) for his third straight game with an assist (0-3=3). Terry is the leader in the NCHC in assists and ranks tied for third in points (27). • Brent Gates extended his scoring streak to a season-high four consecutive games (2-3=5) with 1-1=2 points on Jan. 6 at St. Cloud St. Gates has points in six of his last eight games (2-5=7).

• Antoine Morand collected two assists on Jan. 7 vs. Halifax for his second straight multi-point game and his third in the last four contests. Morand is currently riding a four-game assist/point streak (2-6=8), tying his previous season high assist streak of four games from Nov. 10-19 (0-7=7). Morand currently ranks tied for fifth in the QMJHL in assists (30). • Jack Kopacka scored 1-1=2 points with a +3 rating on Jan. 7 at Guelph. It was Kopacka’s second game in his last three contests where the forward earned a +3 rating. He is a +16 since the start of December. • Josh Mahura registered a three-game assist streak from Jan. 1-Jan. 6 (1-5=6) for his third such streak of the season. Mahura is also a plus in each of his last six games (+11). In his last 10 contests, Mahura has earned 5-8=13 points with a +13 rating. • Tyler Soy recorded his 50th point of the season on Jan. 7 at Everett with an assist after earning a shorthanded goal earlier in the game. With the two-point night, Soy extended his current point streak to 12 straight games (8-11=19) to match his career high set last season from Jan. 14-Feb. 10 (8-14=22). • Max Jones was traded to the Kingston Frontenacs on Jan. 7. Jones recorded 18 goals and 21 points this season for the London Knights in 25 games. Jones spent three season with the Knights, earning 63-46=109 points in 121 contests.
