Event Summary
Dangerous heat and humidity continues today. Heat index values of near 100 during the peak of the heat today for much of the Tri-State except eastern Long Island and southeast Connecticut. Heat index values up to 105 for Northeast New Jersey during the peak of the heat. Heat index values are forecast to approach 95 across portions of the TriState area through the 5th of July.
