Sharing through forums for direct interaction between students and online collaboration between classes through a video
Are you a teacher considering project based approaches to learning with relevant contexts? Why not consider participating in the Heritage around the World/ Patrimoine Mondial project that creates an environment for students to share the heritage of their country. This project is open to all ages from primary to secondary school. The participants choose a topic relating to their country's heritage and illustrate the topic through descriptions, articles, films, videos, and audio documents. The Heritage can include architecture, stories, tales, oral traditions, dances, music, instruments, crafts, endangered species, endangered water reserves, climate changes experienced during our lifetime, and any other topics of interest. This project starts in July and runs until September and is facilitated by Seydy Ibrahima ly (Senegal) and Annie Vergne (France) Sharing through forums for direct interaction between students and online collaboration between classes through a video conference (Skype, Adobe Connect). We will also create a magazine collecting all the data on the various topics dealt with during the project using issuu or other online tools. https://internationalprojectblog.wordpress.com Interested?
