AROUND THE FIRM RECENT INNOVEST EVENTS This quarter Innovest welcomed Vice President and Consultant Kristy LeGrande. She is a member of the Investment Committee, which drives the firm’s investment research and due diligence. Kristy has 20 years of experience in the investment industry. She joins us from Cambridge Associates where she was a Director. Kristy completed her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and received an MBA from the Tuck Vice President Kristy LeGrande

School of Business at Dartmouth College. She is also a CFA charterholder.

Also, Cos Braswell, a student at the University of Denver, is interning with the firm. He is a junior studying finance and entrepreneurship. At the end of September, Innovest hosted a party for Principal Donna Patch, who retired after 13 years with the firm. Best wishes to Donna in her new chapter. This fall, Innovest employees volunteered at GrowHaus, a nonprofit organization that grows produce, distributes food and teaches Denver residents about healthy living. advisement. Analyst Abigail Thomas’ article “Active-choice: An enrollment alternative worth considering” was published in Employee Benefit Adviser. Additionally, President Wendy Dominguez earned the distinction of being named one of three finalists for the Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business in the finance and banking category. On Thursday, December 7, Innovest will partner with EKS&H to host the Rocky Mountain Benefits Plans Conference at CU South Denver (formerly the Wildlife Experience). The conference features speakers from several companies including Innovest, ES&H, Sherman and Howard, the Securities Exchange Commission and Empower. CPE credits are available.
