ARTICULATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi AND

Suffolk County Community College EFFECTIVE - fall 2011

The State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi agrees to articulate with Suffolk County Community College at Long Island, NY by providing opportunities for appropriately qualified students to complete the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Hospitality Management: Culinary Arts Management degree. Students selected for matriculation in this program will, upon satisfactory completion of a prescribed sequence of courses leading to an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Culinary Arts Management Baking Pastry Option and Culinary Arts Management Restaurant Management Option from Suffolk County Community College, continue their studies at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi, completion all requirements for a corresponding Bachelor of Business Administration: Hospitality Management degree with a concentration in Culinary Arts Management. While admission to the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi is competitive, students satisfying the following requirements will automatically be accepted: 1.

Completion of a Suffolk County Community College AAS degree.

2. Completion of all coursework for the AAS degree from Suffolk County Community College with a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of2.30 or higher (A=4.0). 3. A student who has completed a Suffolk County Community College AAS degree in Culinary Arts Management: Baking Pastry Option and Culinary Arts Management: Restaurant Management Option will be recognized as a full junior provided they have completed the lower level courses outlined in this articulation agreement. Those who follow the template may receive up to 60 credits.

This articulation is based on the following inter-institutional agreements: A.

The State University of New York College at Delhi (SUNY Delhi) will provide financial aid support to matriculated students who qualify for financial aid. SUNY Delhi's federal school code is 002857. Contact the SUNY Delhi Offsite Admissions and Financial Aid Case Manager at [email protected] for additional information. Interested students must submit an application for admission, along with college transcripts as required by the Enrollment Services Office at the State University of New York at Delhi.

SUNY Delhi advisors will assume responsibility for advising students who are admitted by this agreement. SUNY Delhi curriculum fact sheets will be used as the mechanism for communicating degree requirements to students. Fact sheets will be reviewed annually and appropriate revisions to guide sheets will be made as each institution adds, deletes, or changes course offerings.

The Coordinator for Inter-Institutional Programs at SUNY Delhi will be designated as contact person and coordinator of this agreement.

D.

Should either party desire to terminate this ARTICULATION AGREEMENT, notification shall be given to the other party in writing not less than three (3) months prior to the proposed date of termination. Any student enrolled in the program will be allowed to complete their degree at SUNY Delhi.

E.

The State University of New York College at Delhi will supply Suffolk County Community College with promotional and information literature, which will be used to assist students, faculty, and staff.

In addition to the above, students must: 1. Contact the State University of New York College at Delhi on-campus representative at Suffolk County Community College during the first or second year of study in the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Culinary Arts Management Baking Pastry Option and Culinary Arts Management Restaurant Management Option at Suffolk County Community College 2. Submit an application for admission as required by the Enrollment Services Office at the State University of New York College at Delhi.

In the case of programs that are not covered by this agreement, students must follow normal procedures for transfer admissions and will be subject to the same requirements for these programs as other students applying.

Faculty advisors at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi will assume responsibility for advising students who are covered by this agreement. The attached curriculum guide sheets will be used as the mechanism for communicating degree requirements to students. Guide sheets will be reviewed annually and appropriate revisions to guide sheets will be made as each institution adds, deletes or changes course offerings.
