Ascendix DataAmp Call Plans Payment Type 1. Custom Data Plan – paid upfront as a certain amount of projected usage for you or your organization. For example, you can purchase $100 worth of credits, and as your credits approach completion, you will be notified to re-fill your account by purchasing additional bulk credits.
How to Track Call Usage (Credits) You will have trial credits to help you get started with using Ascendix DataAmp. However, after you have purchased one of the pricing plans, this is how to view how many credits you have used/have remaining: From the left nav bar select App Setup Installed Packages. Click Configure next to the Package Name “Ascendix DataAmp”
You will see the Plan you have available and remaining credits on the account.
What defines a Call? There are two types of Calls used by DataAmp; Enrich and Import. Enrich Calls are used when you use DataAmp to click on a tile to drill down on a pre-existing record within your CRM. Import Calls are used when DataAmp is used to pull New contacts into CRM. Calls are deducted from the account if the user has drilled into record details, regardless if the user decides to fill all/fill selected details.

Installation Instructions Once you are provided the link for installation, follow these instructions for getting DataAmp set up in your Salesforce.
Select “Install for Admins Only” and click Install
*Installing for Admins Only grants all Salesforce users access to DataAmp but only the admins will have administrative privileges to moderate pricing plans
Select “Yes, grant access to these third-party web sites” and click Continue button

You will receive this message indicating it is installing and taking a long time to do so. Click on Done
You will receive an email confirmation from
[email protected] indicating the install is complete. Install times may vary.

How to Configure Ascendix DataAmp for your Accounts & Contacts (Lightning) Once installation is complete, you will be brought to the Installed Packages screen that lets you configure your settings. (If you do not see Ascendix DataAmp in Installed Packages, please refresh your browser)
Click Configure
Read and acknowledge the License Agreement
Click on “Setup Home”

From the left-hand scroll bar select “Object Manager” located in Platform Tools Object and Fields Object Manager
Select Account from the Object Manager
Select Account Layout from the Page Layouts section
From this page click on Salesforce1 & Lightning Actions in Account Layout

Drag and drop ascendix_ds_Enrich_DataURL and ascendix_ds_Add_InsideView_ContactsURL into the Salesforce1 and Lightning Experience Actions section
Now select Buttons from Account Layout

Click Save and to return to the Account page
Go to the “Buttons, Links & Actions” section and scroll down to New and select Edit from the dropdown
Select Visualforce Page and NewAccount[ascendix_ds_NewAccount] from the dropdown before hitting Save.

Drag and drop ascendix_ds_Enrich_DataURL and into the Custom Buttons section

Click Save to return to the Contact page
Scroll down to “Buttons, Links and Actions” section. Go to NewContact and select Edit from the dropdown
Select Visualforce Page and NewContact[ascendix_ds_NewContact] from the dropdown before hitting Save.
DataAmp is now ready for use!

How to Uninstall Ascendix DataAmp Before uninstalling, you will need to take a few manual steps to ensure uninstallation is successful.
Click on “Setup Home”
From the left-hand scroll bar select “Object Manager” located in Platform Tools Object and Fields Object Manager

Select Account from the Object Manager
Select Account Layout from the Page Layouts section
Remove Enrich Data and Add InsideView Contacts from Experience Actions. (To remove, click the button and drag off the page)

Remove Enrich Data and Add InsideView Contacts from Custom Buttons.
Click Save and to return to the Account page
Scroll down to New and select Edit from the dropdown
Select No Override and Save.

From Set Up Home, go to Administration UsersPermission Sets
Click on Ascendix DataAmp and select Manage Assignments on the next page
From this page select All Users in this list and click Remove Assignments

Select “Installed Packages” located in Platform Tools Apps Installed Packages
Select Uninstall
Scroll down and select “Do Not Save a Copy” and “Yes I want to uninstall” and Click Uninstall.
*All information pulled from DataAmp is yours to keep and is not affected by the uninstall! You will receive an email confirmation that your package has been uninstalled.
