30 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE ATLANTA COMMUNITY OVER $610,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS ADDITIONAL AWARD CRITERIA To the LULAC National Scholarship A. The applicant must be of Latino Heritage. B. The applicant must have graduated from an accredited Georgia High School and one of the parents or legal guardians must be a resident of Georgia. Residents of the Atlanta metro area will receive preference.

C. Scholarships are awarded only once, to High School graduating seniors or first time college students. D. Only one scholarship per family per year will be awarded except when there is more than one sibling entering college for the first time. E. Applicants attending any of the Military Academies will not be considered for a Council #950 Scholarship. F. A person attending vocational, technical, or trade school is not eligible. G. Financial need and family income will be used as criteria for selection. A copy of the current income tax return may be requested for verification purposes.

H. Applications will be reviewed and approved by the Scholarship Committee. Any changes after approval that do not meet all of the award criteria are subject to reevaluation by the committee and could result in disqualification.

INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
