HOW TO NOMINATE YOURSELF
To lead the Athletics Union
• Online at www.lsesu.com/elections • Nominations open: 10am, Monday 16th February • Nominations close: 5pm, Monday 23rd February • Voting: 10am, Wednesday 4th March – 7pm, Thursday 5th March
WHAT YOU WILL DO • Represent all AU club members • Works with the Activities and Development Officer and LSESU to develop sport at LSE • Support AU club captains and club execs • Leads the organisation of AU events • The AU President chairs the weekly AU Executive meeting • Liaises with the Union on all large AU activities and events
BENEFITS • Help shape the future of LSE and LSESU • Develop your communication, organisational and teamwork skills • Looks great on your CV • Meet other students • Additional training as requested • If you’re thinking of running for a Parttime Officer or Sabbatical Officer position in the future, this is a great way to try campaigning and to convince students you can represent their views
USEFUL EXPERIENCE • Must be a member of the AU • Sports club captain
PAY AND CONDITIONS • Voluntary expenses will be covered • You will be required to attend training
