HOPE FOR HONDURAS BABY PROJECT Please help us continue to support the Honduran Nutrition Center, built with funds donated by the SLUH community, and the needy children who visit the Center. Both cash donations and specific items, listed on the flyer, will be collected the week of September 19-23. Your participation is greatly appreciated!! BE A SLUH MOM AMBASSADOR! Do you enjoy talking about SLUH and promoting our school? The Admissions Office and Mothers’ Club work together to reach out to prospective students and their families. Our Mom Ambassadors represent SLUH in two very important ways: • Contact prospective families in the fall soon after they come for an Inside SLUH Visit. • Contact moms of students after they’ve been admitted in February to welcome them and answer their questions. Contribute to the needs of the holy ones, exercise hospitality.” Romans 12:12-13 The Martha Committee is designed to assist SLUH families and staff in time of need. Whatever the need – meals, rides, cards, flowers, errand runs and especially prayer – the Martha Committee is here to tend to it. [email protected]. SLUH COMMUNITY SERVICE: FOOD DRIVE Friday, September 9 - Friday, September 16 The SLUH Food Drive is an annual school-wide event. A specific list of needed items will be distributed to your son in homeroom and will be available on the SLUH website. Any cash collected will be used to purchase non-perishable items. Donations are used to prepare meals for our Freshman Service and Community Service (CSP) feeding shelter programs at three St. Louis area shelters. CARD PARTY- “EAT, PLAY, SHOP”
CRAFT WORKSHOPS Help is needed to make crafts to be sold at Card Party. We will meet in the Mothers’ Club workroom on Thursday, September 15 (in the evening) and Thursday, September 29. Grab a friend or come meet new ones! No experience is required. Click HERE for more information. CARD PARTY- “EAT, PLAY, SHOP” Sunday, October 16 Donations and 150 volunteers are needed for this unique SLUH event! This is a great way to meet other SLUH moms. Donate your new or gently-used items for prizes, baskets and white elephant. • Volunteers - We need 150 helpers to run this event. Donations can be dropped off at the SLUH reception area • Raffle - Tickets are now on sale to win a handmade quilt or a diamond fleur de lis charm. After Mass, join us for coffee, juice and pastries in the Si Commons. Also, you are always invited to attend daily Mass at 7:20 a.m. in the SLUH Chapel.

Preparations for Cashbah 2017, SLUH’s spring dinner auction, are underway. We will need hundreds of volunteers this year and would love for you to participate.
