METHODOLOGY RecruiteX represents the demand aspects of recruitment. Demand for talent is computed by factoring activities of recruiters on TimesJobs.This demand is integrated with numbers collected by our offline team and then segregated according to top industry verticals, functional areas and locations. The base value
for the index has been kept at 100 for the month of December 2010. All RecruiteX values for subsequent months represent the present trend viz-a-viz December 2010. RecruiteX, in its most comprehensible format, is aimed to provide an insight of recruitment market in India to employers, recruiters and job seekers.

Delhi-NCR was able to sustain the hiring momentum in metros with mere 1 per cent rise in hiring activity in August. Among states, Gujarat posted 25 per cent rise in talent demand. Hiring dropped across experience categories, with professionals having more than 20 years of experience witnessing highest drop in demand.
