A UM Army disaster relief mission trip to LaGrange, TX for Faith high school students and adults is now being planned for Nov. 24-26 (the weekend after Thanksgiving). Fall Festival at McNair Elem. – Thursday, Oct 12th from 5:30-8:30 Our partner school, McNair has reached out to us requesting volunteers to help staff booths at their Fall Festival. The festival is Thursday, Oct 12 from 5:30-8:30. Volunteers do not have to work the entire time. Any amount of time will be appreciated. Help is also requested for set-up which will begin at 1:00pm. Pumpkin Palooza—Saturday, October 21 The City of Corinth has a great fall festival called Pumpkin Palooza from 11-9 on Saturday, October 21 at Corinth Community Park. Faith UMC will be there, hanging out with our community, offering free pictures with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Lucy. Bring your family out to enjoy the day, and consider donating an hour of CorinthPumpkinPalooza.com your time to help host our booth (we'll also need help with setup and tear down). Spiritual Gifts Workshop ** Date Change: Nov 3 and 4 God has a plan and purpose for your life. The Spiritual Gifts workshop is designed to help you identify your spiritual gifts and passions and discover the ways in which you have been uniquely created to find joy and satisfaction in serving God and others. Workshop meets on Friday from 6-9 pm (dinner provided) and continues on Saturday from 8am-noon (breakfast provided). If you are interested, make a note on your Connection Card.
