Automatic Updating of Taxes Please be advised that in the upcoming weeks, MRED will be automatically updating Tax Amount and Tax Year in connectMLSTM. The full year 2012 amounts will be updated by county, for the following counties: Kendall, Porter, Cook, and Will We will post additional messages on connectMLSTM as updates for other counties are made available. Only listings in the following Property Types will be updated: Detached Single Attached Single Two to Four Units Mobile home Vacant Land By “active listings”, we mean only properties with the following listing statuses will be updated: NEW BOMK ACTV CTG PCHG TEMP RACT AUCT Any listing that currently has 2012 in the Tax Year field will NOT be updated. NOTE: ** Depending on the amount of updates being done, this process can take more than one day. So please give us a few days before you report a missing update. Midwest Real Estate Data LLC
Automatic Updating of Taxes ** For Attached listings, if Type of Ownership is Coop the listing will not be updated. ** Also excluded from the automatic update are properties: -- With multiple PIN numbers (multiple pins = YES) -- That have “special service area = include in tax bill” SPECIAL NOTE: Homes in the Attached property type do not have the option to select “multiple pins = YES”, though in rare instances such a property may have more than one PIN. Please be sure to check the tax amount after the update to make sure it is accurate· ** The history of a listing will be updated to reflect the change in Tax Amount and/or Tax Year as appropriate. ** For many properties, Realist® has a live link to the county assessor page for up to date tax information that may not be available in the Realist® reports yet.
