Description: Located in the beautiful citrus and rose growing area of the Sundays River Valley, 20 minutes from the Addo Elephant Park, Dave and Judy Smith welcome you to their farm. Avoca, which means ' The meeting of the waters, an ideal for nature lovers and bird watchers. On this beautiful citrus farm in the Sundays River valley, Dave & Judy have established self-catering accommodation. Accommodation is in riverside chalets, Mud Huts, Bush Camp cottages, and the well known Tree Tops cottage. This is a place where family can relax and children are expected to play and have fun. Honeymoon couples and find a quiet hide away. We also have conference & wedding facilities. Breakfast & supper can be arranged in advance. We look forward to welcoming you Various Accommodation facilities is available on this working farm to cater for all needs and wants. A. Bush Camps: A path leads down from the lush garden to a small bush camp overlooking the river where 2 wooden cabins nestle in a sheltered clearing. Each open plan unit has a private hot shower with toilet. The kitchen is an equipped 'Lapa'. The camp leads out onto a deck that looks out over the river and mountains. A great place for sundowners! Each air conditioned unit sleeps 4.

B. Gymnogene: A path leads down from the lush garden to a small bush camp overlooking the river. Gymnogene shares a place next to the wooden cabins nestled in a sheltered clearing. This self-catering equipped Chalet is open plan with a fire place for Barbeque. The unit has a balcony that overhangs the Sundays River. A great place for sundowners and a private getaway. Breakfast is an optional extra. (One unit, sleeps 2)

Mud huts: Two mud huts with hot water shower/toilets alongside the river where there is an abundance of fish and bird-life. There is no kitchen or braai facility. Plenty of scenic walks through the citrus orchards, and canoeing on the river, which is inclusive of the price. ( sleeps 2 each)

D. River side chales: Six-sleeper: The accommodation sleeps six people. There are two bedrooms, each with two beds and a mezzanine level with two beds. The accommodation is fullyequipped. Braai barbeque facilities are available. The toilet and shower facility is inside. The accommodation is close to the river. The accommodation is self-catering. Two to five sleepers: Fully-equipped chalets along the Sundays river. Sleeps two to five. Bedding is provided. Each chalet has a private braai (barbeque) area. The accommodation is equipped. These chalets are near to the river. There is a jungle-gym for the children to use. This is self-catering accommodation. Breakfast can be arranged at extra cost. Self-catering accommodation is not serviced except by arrangement.

E. The Castle: This is a two bedroom self-contained flat. The first bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has three single beds. The guests share a bathroom and toilet. This is self-catering accommodation with breakfast as optional extra. Bedding is provided. It has a private entrance. The kitchen is equipped. F. Treetop Cabins: This is luxury amongst the Blue Gum trees on the Farm. The Tree Tops cottage has two bedrooms with en-suite toilet and shower. Each bedroom has two single beds and fold out couch. Bedroom doors lead out onto the deck, no inter-leading doors. There is a kitchen, lounge area, and braai barbeque on the deck. G. Uncle Townies House: This house offers six en-suite bedrooms, each with private entrance. The rooms share a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely barbecue/braai area. Amazing views of the Sundays River and Zuurberg Mountains! H. River side semi detached chalets: Four-sleeper x 4. Each semi-detached riverside unit has an open plan living/sleeping area as well as a loft room. The thatch roof unit sleeps 4 people. It has 2 x single beds on the ground floor plus the first floor loft room has two beds and is accessible by staircase. The unit has a private shower / toilet. There is a private kitchenette.
