Avon Summer Robotics Camp This five day camp is designed for current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students interested in learning how to build and program a robot to solve challenges using the Lego MINDSTORMS EV3 robotics system. Students will work in pairs to design and build a programmable robot using high quality motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles, and other technical components. Teams will put their robots to the ultimate test by using them to solve challenges with the Lego Space Challenge Set. This hands-on experience with programming, sensors, and motors helps students develop solutions through teamwork skills giving students an early start with robotics and STEM subjects. Please return this registration form to your current school office no later than May 1, 2016 with a check made payable to Avon Middle School South – Robotics Camp. Registration is limited to 20 students for each camp. We anticipate a high demand for these camps. Camp registration will be filled on a first come first serve basis so please register early to secure a spot in one of these camps.
