Under the creative direction of Carli Pearson comes CIMONE, a new Womenswear brand for 2016. Combining irreverence and playfulness with haute styling, each CIMONE creation is a timeless piece to be coveted and cherished for years to come. Based in London, and working exclusively with specialist professionals, the studio hand crafts and develops each garment in house. Underpinning each design is a strong emphasis on finesse, where every detail is carefully considered and lovingly nurtured throughout each stage of production. No compromises are made to achieve the highest quality. Modern materials and innovative production methods reinvent the familiar. CIMONE is luxury with a youthful spirit, melding raw experimentation with a polished aesthetic.
AW16/17 The inaugural AW16 collection sees a cacophony of exaggerated proportions, and graphic lines thrown off kilter by rich brocades in unexpected shapes. Designs are refabricated and layered to be worn alone or ensemble. Glossy smoked rubber is twinned with textured canvassing, layered to resemble a photographic negative, highlighting construction. Tiled laser-cut leather is hand woven to create a structured ornamental fabric taking inspiration from Samurai armour. This intricate embroidery manifests itself across a range of jackets, dresses and accessories.
