Castle, we are confident that we can provide you with a very memorable and great value for money experience.

We have been receiving visitors here for over 50 years and are continually improving both the offer and the level of customer service we provide.

With fourteen rooms and over three thousand items on display, ranging from arms and armour to fine porcelains, china, artworks and furniture, there is always something of interest to discover. The Armstrong and Aviation Museum provides an interesting insight into the legacy left by the First Lord Armstrong and the contribution he made to industry in the North East. Free guided tours (time constraints apply) or introductory talks are enhanced by the presence of knowledgable staff, guide books and audio tours. Specialist talks from archaeologists are available as are themed Northumbrian evenings and taster sessions. We are happy to discuss any particular requirements you may have.
