Bangor Savings Bank Official Drawing Rules NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Drawing will begin on Monday, September 11, 2017 and ends on Friday, September 22, 2017 (the “Drawing Period”). The drawing will take place on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 (Global CX Day). Who May Enter: Drawing is open to legal residents of the State of Maine who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, directors, and trustees of Bangor Savings Bank (“Sponsor”), Bangor Bancorp, MHC., advertising and promotion agencies and those associated with the development, distribution or implementation of this Drawing, and any immediate family member of any such employee living in the same household are not eligible. How to enter: Complete an entry form with your first name, last name, address and phone number. Winners may be required to show proof of age. NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER. You may also enter by mail during the Drawing Period by mailing a 3.5” x 5” blank index card with your first and last name, address, and phone number printed on a single side to Bangor Savings Bank, Attn: Marketing Department, P.O. Box 930, Bangor, ME 044020930. Entries must be post-marked no later than Friday, September 22, 2017. All entries become the property of Bangor Savings Bank and will not be acknowledged or returned, and no correspondence will be entered into except with winners. No illegible, garbled, incomplete, mutilated, or emailed entries will be accepted. Limit one entry per person per prize. Void where prohibited by law. Odds of Winning: Odds depend on the total number of drawing participants. Participation earlier in the Drawing Period may increase chances of winning due to entry in multiple drawings. Entrants will be entered for all drawings that occur subsequent to his/her entry (unless the entry is selected as a winner). Prizes: Seven (7) $500 Buoy Local Gift Cards. Prize Drawing: The Sponsor will draw at random one (1) winner per our Consumer Banking geographic areas for one each of the seven (7) Buoy Local Gift Cards from all participants eligible in that area. Claiming Prize: Winners will be notified by phone, email, or certified mail. Winners will also be announced via the Sponsors social media pages. Prizes will be available for pick-up at the Bangor Savings Bank location of the winner’s choice. If the winner cannot be reached within thirty (30) days, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. The prize will remain available for pick-up at the chosen Bangor Savings Bank location for thirty (30) days after successful notification to the winner. Winner will be required to provide their age, address, city, state, zip code, social security number, and daytime phone number, and complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability, and, unless prohibited by law, publicity release upon receipt of the prize or else prize may be forfeited in its entirety. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission and a waiver to use, reproduce, display and publish winner’s name, biographical information, image, photograph, voice and/or likeness by Bangor Savings Bank and its agents, successors, and assigns for any purpose and in any media whatsoever, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe in perpetuity, without review or further compensation to entrant for purposes related to the Sweepstakes. By participating (including without limitation claiming any prize), all entrants acknowledge compliance with and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Bangor Savings Bank, which are final and binding in all respects. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner(s). Sponsor will collect information from the entrants solely for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and to provide prize notifications to winners. Sponsor will not share this information with any third party, except as necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes, nor attempt to contact entrant, unless entrant has agreed to receive further information on Sponsor’s products and promotions. Conditions: Winners, by accepting a prize, agree to release and hold harmless the employees, officers, directors, and trustees, of Bangor Savings Bank (“Sponsor”), Bangor Bancorp, MHC., advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective directors, representatives and agents (“Releases”) from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or component of a prize, or participation in the Drawing. Sponsor makes no warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to this promotion or the merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose regarding any prize or any component of any prize. The Drawing may be cancelled for events that are beyond the reasonable control of Bangor Savings Bank, including but not limited to, (a) Acts of God, (b) war, (c) inclement weather, (d) disaster, fire, earthquakes, (e) cancellation of event Sponsor, or (f) any other cause reasonably beyond the parties’ control, making the Drawing commercially impracticable to perform. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Drawing, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If, for any reason, the Drawing is not capable of running as planned by reason of, but not limited to, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which Sponsor, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Drawing, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion and subject to applicable laws, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Drawing and select the winners from eligible entries received prior to the action or as otherwise may be deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. Disputes: Except where prohibited, all issues/questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Drawing, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maine, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Maine or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maine. Jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within the State of Maine. Revision of Official Rules: Sponsor reserves the right to modify or amend these Official Rules at any time and without notice.
