The building itself is a symbol of contemporary Barcelona. It was designed by the architects Ferrater and Cartañá and has received the National Architecture Prize in 2001. Abstract submission deadline: May 31, 2016

The organizers invite scientists, clinicians, researchers, and industry representatives to submit their abstract(s) for the 5CC Abstract Award.

Online registration at www.5-cc.com is the most preferred way. Delegates and accompanying persons are requested to register in advance by completing and submitting the registration form with appropriate fees. Registration is also possible by fax or email. In order to avoid double charges, please submit your registration only once.

We welcome abstracts on the following topics:   

TERMS AND CONDITIONS General Abstracts from industry representatives will not be considered for the 5CC Abstract Award and the financial price.

REGISTRATION FEE FOR DELEGATES COVERS

 Admission to scientific sessions and symposia  Congress bag with numerous congress documents  Admission to the exhibition Registration will be confirmed only upon complete payment of the delegate fee and other services booked. On site registrations are possible in credit card and cash during the opening hours of the registration desk. All Resident / Student / RN registrations must be supported by valid proof of status. Accompanying person registrations (spouses and non-physicians only) must be supported by valid ID for both spouses.

The best abstract on each topic will receive a certificate and a financial prize of € 1,000. The abstract submission deadline is May 31, 2016; the abstract evaluation deadline is June 30, 2016. Authors will be notified of the abstract evaluation results by email in July 2016. Abstracts received after May 31, 2016 will not be accepted and therefore not be considered for the 5CC Abstract Award and (industry) abstract session. Only abstracts from registered 5CC delegates/industry partners will be considered. Delegates registration is possible online or via Fax. To become an industry partner of 5CC 2016, please contact [email protected] Selected abstracts will be presented as oral presentations during the abstract session at 5CC 2016. Industry representatives will present their abstracts in an independent industry abstract session. The use of supporting PowerPoint presentation slides will be allowed. Every presentation should be 5 - 7 minutes and 2 - 3 minutes for discussion and questions. The presenter will receive any technical information and presentation instructions at least 8 weeks before 5CC 2016. Abstracts must contain work that has not been previously submitted and/or presented at any national or international meeting before 5CC 2016. Abstract Submission Authors can submit their abstract(s) via e-mail to [email protected] The author has to clearly indicate the topic (Energy-Based Devices/Aesthetic Dermatology/Innovations). Only electronically submitted abstracts will be considered.

CANCELLATION POLICY We will refund 80% of the participation fee with a € 30 processing fee, if written cancellation reaches Logi-Vent GmbH before April 30, 2016. We will refund 50% of the participation fee with a € 30 processing fee, if cancellation reaches Logi-Vent GmbH before July 31, 2016. No refunds from August 1, 2016. CONFIRMATION Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation will be sent to participants. This authentication should be presented at the registration desk on site. Abstract Evaluation The 5CC Scientific Committee will review all abstracts without knowledge of the author’s name. Acceptance or rejection of an abstract will be based on the average grade awarded by the reviewers. The abstract should be presented in a way that the contribution of the research to advance knowledge can be assessed. The Committee reserves the right to:  

Select the abstracts relevant to the sessions; Decide on the final topic of the abstract.

Abstract Formalities Abstracts must be submitted in English and must not exceed 300 words. The authors’ conclusion(s) should be clearly stated. General statements such as the significance of these findings will be regarded unfavorably and will generally lead to the exclusion of abstracts. Initials and abbreviations which are not in common use should be avoided unless they are essential. Remember to check spelling and grammar carefully. Your electronically submitted abstract text will be reproduced as submitted. Speaker disclosure of potential conflicts of interest The 5CC Scientific Committee requires that all presentations be as free of commercial bias as possible and that any information on commercial products or services be based on already generally accepted medical thinking. It is also preferred that generic drug names be used wherever possible and that any presentation referring to unlabeled or research-associated commercial products should disclose this situation to session attendees.

Logi-Vent GmbH shall not be liable hereunder on whatsoever legal basis by reason of any cancellation of all or part of the event or by reason of any termination of all or part of the event ahead of schedule on account of any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of Logi-Vent GmbH (such as acts of God, war, insurrection, civil unrest, strikes, etc.).
