Page 1 Published: Saturday, 13th October 2018, 17:29

Permission was given for BEYOND EQUAL to go early to post. VALIDATOR wore earplugs which were removed at the start. Following the race Georgia Cox reported that VALIDATOR, unplaced, was never travelling and Dougie Costello reported that KION (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling. KION was routine tested. Paul Hanagan reported that GANGLAND, unplaced, was drawn badly and never got into the race. Race 2 - 5:10pm. THE COURAGE BEST / BRITISH EBF NOVICE MEDIAN AUCTION STAKES (CLASS 5)

Permission was given for TEMPLE OF WONDER (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring only. An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line when the winner, KINKS, ridden by Charles Bishop, interfered with TIN HAT (IRE), placed second, ridden by Edward Greatrex. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved KINKS’s placing as the winner always appeared to be holding the second and the distance at the line was a head. The interference was found to be accidental as KINKS ducked quickly right-handed, into the whip, before being quickly corrected. Following the race David Probert reported that BROADHAVEN DREAM (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away and hung both ways. Race 3 - 5:45pm. THE WHITSBURY MANOR STUD / BRITISH EBF LANSDOWN STAKES (CLASS 1) (Listed Race)

Permission was given for ROCK ON BAILEYS to wear a hood in the parade ring only. An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately a furlong out when ROCK ON BAILEYS, placed fifth, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa, drifted right-handed at the same time as JUSTICE LADY (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Dane O’Neill, drifted marginally left-handed causing FASHION QUEEN, unplaced, ridden by Daniel Tudhope, to have to take a pull. The interference was found to be accidental as both ROCK ON BAILEYS and JUSTICE LADY (IRE) moved in at the same time. Following the race Paul Mulrennan reported that MABS CROSS, placed second, was denied a clear run and Robert Winston reported that BELLEDESERT, unplaced, was denied a clear run. Steph Hollinshead reported that BELLEDESERT lost its right fore shoe. David Probert reported that RAZZMATAZZ, unplaced, was slowly away. Race 4 - 6:15pm. THE RINGWOOD FORTY NINER HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6)

Permission was given for BAILEYS EXCEL to go early to post. Following the race Hollie Doyle reported that FOLLOWING BREEZE (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run. Race 5 - 6:45pm. THE RINGWOOD BOONDOGGLE NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 5)

Permission was given for FANFARE LADY (IRE) to go early to post. Following the race Josephine Gordon reported that YOUKAN (IRE), placed third, was denied a clear run. Race 6 - 7:15pm. THE BRAKSPEAR OXFORD GOLD HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4)

Permission was given for BUXTED DREAM (USA) to go early to post. Following the race Josephine Gordon reported that SHOWMETHEWAYAVRILO, unplaced, hung righthanded throughout and Kieran O'Neill reported that AWESOME ALLAN (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run. Race 7 - 7:45pm. THE HAYS SPECIALIST RECRUITMENT HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6)

TINK, trained by Mark Brisbourne, was late in the Parade Ring, due to connections having difficulty in fitting the first time blinkers. Inside the last furlong WHO TOLD JO JO (IRE), placed fourth, hung badly left-handed causing WHISPERING SOUL (IRE), unplaced, to take a check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of WHO TOLD JO JO (IRE). Following the race Shane Kelly reported that TISA RIVER (IRE), unplaced, got upset in the stalls and he lost his irons as the filly jumped out. John Egan reported that WHO TOLD JO JO (IRE), placed fourth, hung both way. Josephine Gordon reported that BURAUQ, placed fifth, was denied a clear run and William Carson reported that WHISPERING SOUL (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run.
