Community Guidelines Hello lovelies! Thank you SO much for being a Boho Berry Tribe member! I’ve created this group as a place where we can all come together to share our successes, struggles, tips and tricks, and more. My aim for this group is to create a larger sense of community and belonging within the Tribe. With that in mind, there are some community guidelines that should be followed to keep this a place of positivity and inspiration.
SHARE: Feel free to share your successes, struggles, tips, tricks, and resources.
* Please do NOT upload any files or documents to the group without Admin permission. (photos, of course, are fine) * LIVE VIDEOS are never permitted within the group as we have no way of controlling the content and you never know what can happen live.
ASK: Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Chances are there is someone else out there with the same exact question.
BE KIND: Remember that we are all on our own journeys in life. Things can be easily misconstrued online, so try to keep an open mind when reading and responding to posts. When in doubt, always assume that the original poster is coming from a place of positivity. Being a part of a community means being supportive of and encouraging to one another.
ASKING FOR PERSONAL ADVICE: While asking for advice around our main themes (journaling, planning, personal development topics) is strongly encouraged, we kindly ask that you limit personal advice and off-topic advice requests to Thursdays in the comments section of our “Thursday Wisdom” thread. Please do not create separate threads for personal advice requests.
SELF-PROMOTION: Self-promotion is only allowed on Wednesdays. This includes linking to your own blog, shop, YouTube channel, Facebook Page, Instagram, etc. You may of course recommend blogs that you read or a products that you use, but this is not a sales or self-promotion group. Posts with self-promo links or references will be deleted an you will receive a warning via private message. The second time, you will be removed from the group.
MARKET RESEARCH: Doing market research of any kind for your business is never allowed in this group. This includes asking opinions on “which ___ do you like better for my shop?”, conducting surveys, asking for testers, and more.
GIVEAWAYS: If you’d like to host a giveaway within the group, you must reach out to the Admin team for approval BEFORE you post. Any giveways without prior admin approval will be deleted immediately.
BUY/SELL/TRADE: Buying, selling, and trading are not permitted in the group at any time. There are tons of groups out there for this purpose, but this is not one of them.
SOLICITATION: Solicitation of any kind is never allowed and will be deleted immediately. This includes soliciting money, votes, or anything else. You will be warned via private message on the first offense. The second time, you will be removed from the group.
NEGATIVITY: Negativity towards others will absolutely not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to: Hate Speech, Belittling, Profane Language, Defamatory Comments, Trolling, Harassment, and Bullying. Admins reserve the right to either disable comments or remove a post entirely if it is getting out of hand.
INCLUSIVITY: The Boho Berry Tribe is a diverse group. Discrimination or marginalization of anyone regardless of age, culture, disabilities, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, size or socioeconomic status will absolutely not be tolerated.
USE COMMON SENSE: In any group, there will be disagreements from time to time. Please use common sense when posting. If there is ever a post that you believe does not follow the community guidelines, please report it to Admins (Kara Benz , Kristen Rogers Anderson, Megan Smidt, Fiona L. Kneeshaw, and Ebzy Rose Russell) and let us take it from there.
PLEASE NOTE: Blocking admins is absolutely NOT permitted. If we find that you have blocked an admin, you will be removed from the group immediately without warning. ALSO, taking screenshots from our group and posting them in another is not permitted. The same applies to posting screenshots from another group here. You will be removed without warning in either case.
