BC Advantage Funds Closes Follow-on Investment in Endurance Wind Power Vancouver, January 17, 2011 – BC Advantage Funds (VCC) Ltd. announced today the recent closing of its $1 million follow-on investment in Endurance Wind Power (“Endurance”). Located in South Surrey, Endurance is a manufacturer of wind turbines designed specifically for distributed wind applications in the small wind industry (defined as turbines that produce less than 100kW of power). Endurance's revenues tripled in 2010 versus 2009 as a result of the introduction of the Company's high efficiency 50 kW wind turbine. In late September 2010 Advantage invested $1 million into Endurance from its Advantage Structured Fund I as part of a $5.5 million financing led by Yaletown Ventures. At closing, Advantage requested and received the option to invest a further $500,000 on the same terms and conditions.
