[bc] Request for Qualifications buildingcommunityWORKSHOP is recruiting local architects, designers, and artists to collaborate with [bc] and other local nonprofit organizations or groups in need of design services. These collaborative projects will require a diversity of skills and levels of experience. Time contributed to each project may or may not be compensated, depending on each project’s needs, duration, and resources. To be considered for all current and future projects/events: [bc] is inviting you to get involved with community-engaged projects that address the design needs of local nonprofit and community organizations. There are a number of roles that designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers, artists, graphic designers, and planners of all levels of experience are needed to assist with [bc] project and event opportunities. Descriptions of each role are: Partner - An individual or an active member of a team committed to the process and completion of a specific project. A Partner will be compensated for his/her time and materials contributed to projects. Projects typically last 4-6 months and require 5-10 hours per week. Reviewer/Advisor - An individual willing to commit time for the critical review and assessment of [bc] and Partner work. He/she will be asked to attend design reviews and provide critical opinions on the work produced by Partners at any time during a project. Advisors are typically asked to provide 5-10 hours total, per project. Volunteer - An individual willing to volunteer their time and skills to assist with projects and events. Volunteer shifts vary per event and individual availability.
